I rewrote it when I reposted it on MAL. Reading it again, I was surprised to see I'd edited out the Barbie doll line! Probably couldn't get the phrasing right at the time of the edit. But I've put it back now as I also remember and liked that line.

As for getting embarrassed about posted reviews, I feel embarrassed by my old reviews all the time! The problem in my case is that I'm not a naturally gifted writer, so there's always lots of room for improvement! If I don't post reviews that aren't very good, I would never got started in the first place! I don't think you have that problem though! When I went back to animenfo years later, your reviews and the reviews of other top reviewers had aged very well compared to mine.

Anyway, I hope one day you will change your mind and start posting reviews again :)

I'm glad to hear you're still writing reviews! How come you don't post them? I for one would love to read them. Did you keep a copy of your old animenfo reviews? The site's mostly not working now, but you can actually still get access to a review if you know the anime ID and user ID and construct a URL with them.

Wow I didn't realise you're still active, though obviously no longer active as a reviewer :p I don't know if you remember me, but I was also a reviewer active at around the same time as you. I'm a big fan of your reviews and they played a big part in shaping my own reviews!

It isn't, technically speaking. Although they are the same people, the design and the intention of the forum set is from the manga Horimiya (which is based on the original Hori-san to Miyamura-kun manga). Considering that the designs of the characters are completely different and they're not taken from Hori-san to Miyamura-kun, I don't think it would count.

For your 2018 AWC: There's not Master of TV :eyes: Only genre masteries (look at post #2). Just wanted to warn you so that you don't watch all TV series for no reason.

Hello, I've wanted to tell you this for a long time, but you're my favorite anime reviewer. I followed and read your reviews when they were still hosted in animenfo back in the early 2000's, but I have no idea where else I can read them now that the site does not work properly. I hope you'll post all of them again some day, because I greatly enjoyed reading your in-depth, witty reviews. Thanks to that, I was able to get into anime seriously; I was able to distinguish what made an anime great and what was pure crap. So...thank you so much!
