I Believe in Objectivity, and That's Just How I Roll

No piece of media is perfect, so a 10 to me is basically just a 9 that someone absolutely adores, so I try to be as objective as possible in my ratings. At the same time, a favorite movie or show doesn't have to objectively be the best, either. That is where subjective taste comes in. You might know a movie or show is a 6 or 7, objectively, but there is something about it that you just absolutely love despite its imperfections. As such, you rate it a 6 or 7 and then place it on your favorites, anyway. That is a position I respect far more than just taking every show you love and simply rating it a 10 with no real rhyme or reason other than liking it. Exercise some critical thinking and challenge yourselves a bit.
