I recently watched the first season of Tsubasa Chronicle, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It isn't one of my favorite shows, but it was pretty good and I look forward to the second season. However, this short film was quite terrible.
Story (3/10): I rarely have ever been so lost as to what the hell was going on in an anime. This movie has absolutely nothing to offer. It isn't canon and adds nothing to the story. This "movie" (if you even want to call it that considering how short it is) doesn't even feel anything like the Tsubasa TV series does. It's just

a mindless short story about... hell, I don't even know what it WAS about!
Character (3/10): The Tsubasa characters have zero presence. They are just there. The entire time, they seem to be screwing around and at one point flying on some sort of thing (I don't remember what) to try and let some mute girl talk again. (If that's even what was happening. I couldn't follow the mindless story.) The "villain" in this movie is extremely clichéd and boring and could not be more forgettable. Every other character introduced also sucks. The mute girl could be an interesting character if she had development, but she's not gonna get that in 35 minutes.
Art (7.5/10): The animation was pretty good. It looks better than the TV series. My only gripe is the coloring. They made Syaoran's hair much too light...
Sound (7/10): The sound was fine. Nothing sounded bad, but nothing astounded me either.
Enjoyment (2/10): 15 minutes in I found myself almost falling asleep. If this movie was any longer than it was, I don't think I could have finished it. I don't think I have ever been so happy to see the credits roll after an anime movie.
Overall (3.3/10): Overall, this is a crap movie with nothing to offer. It adds nothing to the series and was just a way for them to get some money off of Tsubasa fans. Don't bother watching it unless you are a completionist who wants to see everything Tsubasa, no matter the quality.

Well... that was... stupid. Not that i was expecting anything out of it considering it's score on this website.
Story (1/10): There is absolutely no story. Just a bunch of random crap happens. I was completely lost from start to finish.
Art (6/10): The art is actually decent. It isn't anything special and isn't incredibly well animated, but it actually doesn't look too bad.
Sound (4/10): Nothing special here either. Nothing good, but nothing completely abysmal.
Character (1/10): Do the characters have names? I don't even remember to be honest. These are some of the weakest characters you will ever see. They just did random crap for five minutes

and had zero development or likability.
Enjoyment (2/10): I'm being nice by giving this category a 2/10. It wasn't funny or interesting. I guess I chuckled at the fact I wasted five minutes of my life.
Overall (1.3/10): I'm sure there is worse out there, but that was pretty bad. I give it some points for having decent art, but that's about it. At least it's short? Glasslip feels like a good anime now.

I started Akame ga Kill!, expecting it to be an amazing anime. After the first half completed, I was very disappointed. It was good, but nothing more. I knew this show had potential, and in the end, I wasn't disappointed in the slightest.
Story (10/10): The first episode is very good, but the quality of the story takes a dip after that. The story focuses too much on the characters killing various people, all of who's personalities are much to similar. They are all just another psychopath. But during the second half, we finally get some interesting characters introduced. Things finally get interesting, and they continue

to get interesting until the very end. They finally drop the overly weird shit that plagued the first half of the serious and finally start to make interesting twists. There are a lot of character deaths, but I think that they are all done very well. I've always liked when characters die in action shows, not because I want them to, (Though with the majority of the antagonists in this show, I do want them to die) because it is realistic and always keeps me at the edge of my seat. This anime really came back from its weak start in the second half, especially in the last five or so episodes.
Art (10/10): The art in this show is gorgeous. It looks even more glorious in HD. The characters movements are fantastic and the action scenes are some of the better I've seen. I was iffy on some of the character designs at first, but I grew to love them over time. It's hard to watch some anime directly after watching this anime, because few shows look as crisp and clean as this one does.
Sound (10/10): Both OPs are excellent. They really get you into the show and are just plain epic. Both EDs are also very good. Many episodes end emotionally, and both of these songs are very fitting for how many of the episodes end.
The sound effects are also fantastic and really get you into the action scenes. I'm not good at judging voice acting (unless it is obviously bad), but to me the voice acting sounded great as well.
Character (10/10): This was, in the first half, a major weak point for this anime. I liked just about none of the characters early on. There were only a few that didn't bother me and only a couple that I truly liked. Then eventually, they all get developed extremely well and a few of the protagonists and have become some of my favorite anime characters.
The antagonists are also great. This show was created some of my most hated characters. (Kurome, you are one of them.) It also really made me think about whether I like certain characters. Esdeath is very interesting, and while I do hate her for her disturbing and brutal nature, she as interesting side about her that is eventually introduced. I will never understand why she has actual fans, and how people could prefer her over the beautiful Akame, but so be it.
Enjoyment (10/10): Very rarely can an anime make me shake in excitement when I am watching it. This may be the most exhilarating action show I have ever seen. (And I have seen Shingeki no Kyojin and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, which were damn exhilarating in their own right) The worry that your favorite character(s) will die is always present. AgK was always enjoyable, even during the lackluster first half. The action is just so intense, that I find my heart thumping during each and every episode. The brutalness of the show and it's characters allows you to never know what is coming next. It doubt that I will find a whole lot more shows that have kept me as excited as watching an episode of this anime.
Overall (10/10): It is very rare for me to see an anime come back so much from a lackluster start. That second half was just so fantastic. This anime managed to squeak its way into my Top 5, which is pretty damn difficult considering how rock solid my Top 5 is. I hope to read the manga one day. I'm sure I will enjoy it, but I also want to see why the hell the some of the manga readers are so frustrated with this adaptation. I can understand why people may be annoyed that things were altered near the end of the series. But, if anyone should be blamed, it should be all the people in Japan who aren't buying the Blu Rays of this fantastic series. The studio, who did an amazing job adapting this manga into only a 24 episode anime, is not to blame, but to applaud. The way they ended things was fantastic, and while I may prefer another action anime eventually, this will undoubtedly remain one of my favorites forever.

Whenever popular animes like Sword Art Online, Shingeki no Kyojin, etc. have aired, I am always late to the party. I only ever began watching them after they have finished airing, or are almost complete, and after they have become popular.
This may not seem like that big of a deal, and it really isn't. But it's cool that I was finally able to start a show before it became a hit. I watched episode 1 the day it aired. And I loved this anime all the way through.

sure if the idea of conflicts being decided by games has been done before an anime, but even if it has, this show does it so well that it shouldn't matter. Nearly every episode of this anime interested me more than the last, and I think that is one of the things that made it so amazing.
This anime was written very intelligently. I actually had to pause sometimes to try and understand what Sora had actually done to win a game.
Art (9.5/10): The art is excellent in this show. It has a unique animation, but it is still very attractive. Everyone has a unique design and is pleasing to the eyes. I found the coloring to be a bit odd, but this isn't a bad thing. In fact, I actually liked the unique color palette that this show had.
The visuals during the Opening and Ending Theme are also excellent and part of what made me love those themes so much.
Sound (10/10): This is one of the strongest points of the anime. Each episode gave me a goddamn eargasm! Not only are the voice acting and sound effects in the show fantastic, but the soundtrack...
The Opening Theme is sung by my beloved Konomi Suzuki. (who sings the Ending Theme of Sakurasou no Pet na Konojo "Days of Dash" along with having vocals in Watamote's OP. Both of which are also heaven for my ears.) I automatically love any song that includes this woman's voice, but her voice isn't the only amazing thing about the Opening. There is also that fantastic piano at the beginning. Listen to the full OP and download it on your iPod/MP3/Phone and you will not regret it.
The Ending Theme I somehow like even more. They managed to make an Ending Theme that I liked more than the Opening Theme. I'm not sure how it was possible, but they did it. It is one of the catchiest songs I have ever heard. Every episode I looked forward to hearing this song at the end. I was kind of sad that they didn't play it at the end of the last episode. I also highly recommend downloading the full version of this.
The OST itself is also fantastic. It does a great job of not only fitting in with the atmosphere of the show, but making it even more intense during Sora and Shiro's games.
Character (9.5/10): Sora ended up being on of my favorite male protagonists in anime. He is extremely badass, and his strategies are extremely well-thought out. I also am a fan of his pervertedness, as it made him more relatable for me, as well as adding to the comedy.
Shiro is a cute loli character, who is also extremely lovable. She is more quiet and speaks in short sentences, and that just adds to her charm. She is my second favorite character.
Stephanie is my third favorite character. She seems to be less popular than Jibril, but for some reason she had something very waifu about her that was attractive to me.
Jibril is pretty funny, and a nice addition to the cast. But I never got as attached to her as I did the other characters.
This show does not have a big main cast, which I think is actually a good thing. It allowed me to get more attached to the characters that were there, instead of having me struggle to remember everyone's name until I got to episode ten.
Enjoyment (10/10): Each episode was very addictive to watch: From the comedic moments, to the intense games, to figuring out what Sora and Shiro did to win a game. This anime was made so fantastically, that I was hooked after episode one. Thankfully, I watched this show as it aired, so I didn't end up watching four episodes a day and finishing it in three days.
Overall (10/10): My fifth favorite anime, behind Angel Beats!, Toradora!, Clannad, and Clannad: After Story. I have a feeling this show will cling to that fifth place spot for awhile. I was really surprised by how much I ended up loving this show, and how it was able to surpass FMA: Brotherhood as my fifth favorite. It truly is a wonderful anime.
So their ends my fanboy-sounding review of No Game No Life. Please do not be turned off by this show just because it is popular. At least give it a try. If you somehow don't like it, I don't know what to say. But hopefully you love it!

After a few episodes aired of Isshuukan Friends, many people were saying that it was better than they expected, and that it was not on their radar before the start of the Spring 2014 Anime Season. However, it was on my radar since it was first announced. And in the end, it turned out to be about as good as I expected.
Story (9/10): Isshuukan Friends does not have the most unique synopsis. A girl loses her memories every week and the main protagonist, Hase Yuuki, wants to become friends with her. It sounds like something that could be hit or miss, but it is carried

out very well. The characters are truly what make the story interesting, and the show has a nice, relaxing feel to it that makes it really enjoyable to watch. So while the story isn't something entirely unique, and watching the friendships grow between the characters is wonderful.
Art (10/10): When I was watching this show, the art looked outstanding to me. It has a unique feel to it that distinguishes it from other shows, but it doesn't try so hard to look unique that it ends up looking kind of ugly. The colors look great and there were never really any moments where the art looked ugly, even for a second. The characters all look pretty unique and are all well-designed. (Hase Yuuki looks kind of basic, but I still liked his design.) Some may think I am overrating the art, but I truly think it looked amazing.
Sound (9/10): The sound was also good. All of the voice actors did an excellent job. (Especially Saki's. I loved her voice!) The opening and ending themes were both very good and were quite fitting for the calm and lighthearted feel of the show. I'm not really one to pay close attention to the OST, but from my memory that also sounded very good and was fitting for the feel of the show.
Character (9.5/10): One thing that surprised me in this show, was how much I liked the supporting characters. Originally I though Fujimiya would be my favorite character, but she ended up as my third favorite. Both Kiryu and Saki turned out to be really good characters. I really wish we could have had one or two more episodes, so I could have seen even more development of those two. The show did a great job of developing them with the time they had, but even more would have been great. Yuuki and Fujimiya are both great characters as well, and were developed throughout the show. The characters in this anime were really good and were one of my favorite aspects of Isshuukan Friends.
Enjoyment (10/10): Another shining side of this series sits right here. I enjoyed every episode majorly. There was only one episode that I didn't love, but even that episode was enjoyable. Each episode just felt so crisp and well-made, and not one episode felt useless or unproductive. Some episodes were funny, some had good romance, and some were more dramatic. But each episode was really entertaining to watch.
Overall (9.8/10): Isshuukan Friends isn't quite a masterpiece, but it truly was excellent. It was one of the best animes of the Spring 2014 season, and I think it is slightly underrated. If one more episode was released and it was amazing, I believe that this show could have reached a 10/10. Regardless, this is a wonderful anime that is great in all aspects, and I would recommend it to everyone.

Wow, that was a weird show!
This is just gonna be a quick little review.
Story (7/10): This is a comedy show, so obviously it doesn't have some amazing, super enthralling story. But it is an interesting concept and it gets the job done for setting up some pretty humorous situations.
Art (8/10): I personally thought the art looked very good. It fits the humor very well. It definitely didn't seem lazy and the backgrounds looked good. The coloring is also very fitting.
Sound (9/10): The OP is pretty good. It was pretty catchy. I liked the ED a lot, too. (Specifically the instrumentals.) I don't usually notice OST

songs, but I noticed a few of them in this one and I thought they were pretty catchy. The OST was definitely very fitting. I also thought the voice acting was great.
Character (8/10): The characters aren't very deep or anything, but they are very humorous and funny. I found Furano to be pretty interesting, and the rest of the cast were also very likable and funny.
Enjoyment: (9/10) This show was freaking hilarious. It took some getting used to the humor, but once I did, I laughed a lot. I'm usually one to just smile at jokes more than audibly laugh, but this show made me laugh out loud numerous times an episode. It's a comedy show, and it did it's job well in this area.
Overall: (8.3/10) After watching the first couple episodes, I didn't think I would give this show above a 7/10. But I started to find it very funny and started to like the soundtrack a lot after watching a couple more episodes. If you are looking for a show that you can just sit back and watch to have a good laugh without needing an incredibly deep story, then this show is for you.

Well, this is my first review. So here we go...
I started watching this movie hearing mixed things about it. Sure it had a pretty good score on this website, but some people I know who had seen it said it was just OK. But I started watching it still hopeful that they could be wrong and it would be great. But it ended up being just OK, like they had said.

was just plain confusing, and the setting made it not even feel like Fullmetal Alchemist. It was slightly interesting about the beginning, but my interest started to slip towards the later portion of it.
Art (8/10): The art was pretty good. It's better then the TV series, which is expected considering that it's a movie. One thing I didn't like was that they are these armored suits in the movie, and when they move they are shown in this awkward 3D animation. I've never liked 3D animation mixed with 2D, so this kind of turned me off...
Sound (7/10): Nothing outstanding. The music blends in well in the background (I didn't really notice it), and the opening music is pretty good.
Characters (5/10): I feel this is where it mainly fell apart. It felt like it tried to squeeze in all the characters from the original series, and it did a poor job of doing so. A lot of characters you see for like five seconds, and then they are gone from the movie. And the ones they did show a lot didn't really act like themselves. The ones introduced weren't amazing either. I liked Noah, but the main antagonist was just your stereotypical villain who was very bland and not interesting.
Enjoyment (6/10): Another mediocre area. I was enjoying the beginning, but I began to get kind of bored 30 minutes in. The action was kind of monotonous and felt forced, and the only reason I didn't forget I was watching a Fullmetal Alchemist movie was because I saw Edward on screen. It was not nearly as epic as the original show and everything felt out of place.
Overall (6/10): This movie was mediocre. Nothing about it really stood out to me. I felt it was unnecessary, and slightly tarnished the original 2003 series, which already didn't have an amazing ending. The ending for this movie was not very good, and the setting and characters felt like they were from another show. It had some good elements, but was not nearly as enjoyable as the anime. Edward felt like himself, but Al didn't at all. I would tell you if the other characters did or not, but they only appeared on screen for five seconds, so I couldn't say. I wish I could say more about the ones that had more screen time, but then I would be spoiling stuff.
So is this worth watching if you watched the original anime? I don't think so. But I won't say you shouldn't watch it. It definitely could have been worse, and not everything about it is bad. I may sound a bit overly negative in my review, which is probably because the ending left a bad taste in my mouth. The movie really isn't BAD. It just isn't GOOD.
Well, that's my first review. Sorry if it's a bit messy, or if it's lacking detail or great reasoning. I just really had to review this one after seeing it's overrated score. It's a decent and unnecessary movie, but it could have been worse.
