But then one of our members left us because he wanted some revenge or because his family (his otousan) died in a masacre. Idk why we were so jealous of Team 8 (Lucas, Roger TwoMas, etc) they were (and are) dickheads. Anyways now we are cool cause the emo guy is back, Canales is with us as well and we also got Sai (Robles), but instead of drawing rats, now he is the rat. That’s a cool jutsu.

Well, you can't help it. No matter what frenchise it is, there will be people claiming/ranting/raging that the source material is better and anime turned it to shit completely/at some point. It is how it is. Welcome to anime community.
It should work two ways. A lot of people praising certain anime can give only one argument of "it's so cool" or "it's a masterpiece" so... But sometimes you can't really give any solid reasons why you love/hate something. You just do and that's it. SAO didn't really waste it's potential. It wasn't even moving in the direction of that potential apart from 2 episodes so you can't really be mad at it. It had cool concept but author went for full easy route with harem and fanservice.

Well, it is unique. And I have to admit - it has a really good message. They predicted a whole lot in this one. Can't tell to much without spoilers. But it comes for a price. Most of the time you have no fucking idea what's going on, there's little to no dialogue and most episodes are just... Boring. It has amazing, wonderful, splendid opening though. Didn't skip a single one. Yeah. In my opinion it lost a lot of its charm after episodes 12-14. What I mean it had a goal back then and it was entertaining. And I'm not talking about Subaru's breakdown because it was done well and actually matched what happend to him. I'm talking about the fact that they almost completely abandoned initial goals - election and finding out why is he being resurrected over and over again. Plus besides Subaru it had little to no character development.
Umh, because these shows tend to be percieved without a slightest does of criticism. And I'm not talking about "oh my gawd this show sucks 1/10" but about actual flaws. When you're person disliking these kind of shows you will run into them everywhere, on every single anime related website. Be it Reddit, Zerochan, 9gag, whatever. During airing 90% posts will relate to this as a "masterpiece" and people praising it. It's hard to net get triggered. Nothing wrong with liking them but when someone criticises that particular show - a lot of people will hunt you down. And some people do it to feel special/attract attention/initiate a rant. Normal people can at least give arguments why they dislike shows.

To be honest I haven't even looked at what's going to air but I'll do it right now. And I'll hand it to you, it looks pretty bad. The only thing that caught my eye was Natsume Book of Friends but I'm not even in this frenchise so I'm not going to watch it. If I had to pick something I'd go with Stella no Mahou because it looks like it can be good, or at least decent cute girls anime but it can easily be super mediocre. So I'm surprised because previous seasons had at least 2-3 interesting anime (winter was just very good at it).

Hmm, I've seen only Garden of Words and 5 Centimeters per Second. And I prefer the later one. But to be honest, Garden of Words is pretty good. It probably deserves a better score than I did give to it. I guess I just picked it up at a bad time. I didn't really like the build up to feels in it. But overall it was solid. Really? I haven't checked what's going to air this season. Has anything caught your attention, even in a slightest bit? Oh, my sweet summer child, you should brace yourself if you think that beginning is heavy on the drama :D Do you like reading manga? Or do you just read it to get to know the latest source material/unfinished anime material?

Don't forget episode where they introduce Megumin. Easily my favorite comedic episode ever.
Hmm, I haven't seen that many but 5 centimeters per second is an easy one. It's just one of those that punches you in the stomach at the end. Seriously, it has hit me hard. Oh, Koe no Katachi should be good. Judging from source material, as long as they don't mess it up, they should easily make something great. And to be honest it's not really about feels. More about actual drama, not forced one. Where guy tries to erase demons of his past and make up for being a little shit.

Hah, the infamous toothbrush scene. No scene in anime managed to make me cringe as much as this one. It was just so... wrong. I don't really mind incest (hello Oreimo) in anime but this one, urgh. Also, fanservice doesn't bother me that much lately (I used to hate it though) but it always annoys me when it's really out of place or gets in the way of actual plot. Oh, yeah. There's plenty of them every season. But to be honest there are really good ones. Konosuba had a lot of fanservice but on the other hand was really funny and entertaining.
