Hey, I read your review on "Hai to Gensou no Grimgar". I've been unable to find past chapter 4, could you guide me as to where I could read past that?
Also, good review + the Anime is out. Though you've gave the anime only 1 episode which is upsetting.

So since Spider girl volume 3, have you read anything else since then?

Oh yeah, those self-sacrificial hero types do tend to get more annoying when there's a more appealing ruthless character in the story. Like Suzaku in Code Geass or all the weak characters in Overlord.

But at least the other characters in Shun's route have some interesting moments. Just wish there were more Kumoko chapters per volume.

You definitely should. The MC's schemes are very enjoyable to read. As for an enjoyable Korean one you should check out in the future, Everyone Else is a Returnee is an easy recommend.

Both web novels are long but both are finished.

Yeah, though I'm focusing more on the Overlord anime for now. As for So I'm a Spider, I've just skimmed through a couple of the future Kumoko web novel chapters and I'll probably wait until volume 6 of the LN comes out before I start it up again. Plus I just ordered the 1st 6 volumes of Grimgar, since I could get those volumes for upto 40% off.

Though not sure when I'll have a chance to read any of them, since I'll be going back to reading mostly Korean & Chinese web novels for the time being. Currently halfway through a fantastic one called I Shall Seal the Heavens. Only took a break from reading that, to read So I'm a Spider, because it's so long.

The manga is only good as a re-cap and its funny portrayal of certain moments.

Feels weird going from the So I'm a Spider LN to the manga, because the LN gets real dark real quick, yet the manga has remained light-hearted in those areas.

Yeah, I wasn't sure where the story was going until we got the Julius chapters, from when he was searching for that infamous spider, in the labyrinth. Because I was always confused why the rest of the characters were in their teens, yet Kumoko was barely a couple weeks old. And then the huge reveal at the end.

Well I'm about to start volume 3 right now... I'll check you review once you've read it.

So you weren't that into the story of "So I'm a Spider," when reading the first volume of the novel, but what do you think of the story now that you've read the 2nd volume?
