Oh nice ;) yeah big windup is a good time, I recommend it. It's slower pace and less hot blooded than your Haikyuus or w/e, but does feel a bit more methodical. Okay, those Shinra gifs are *amazing*, geez. Very good stuff, I just moved him up ~100 spots on the husbando list haha. Big Windup is very nice! Main character specifically is so good and cute, he's one of my very favorite characters. And there's tons of BL under/overtones between him and the other main. I really need to get on watching season 2, it's been like 2 years since I finished the first. Yeah I never played sports ever so can't really confirm or deny the false advertising, I do remember liking to look at the shirtless guys at PE when I was in middle school though uh.

That artist is really good yeah, they just do like Killua and Mikleo, but they're the *best* Killua and Mikleo pics (+ gifs, that one Mikleo gif where they're like on a beach......). I agree! Manami definitely raises Yowapeda up a bar, I also like Naruko a good bit since he's got that short thick quality to him that I like so much, but Manami's just such a breath of fresh air and I just love his personality so much

Oh All Out is boring as hell, I've dropped it like 3 times. But I'm determined to finish it now (and I've learned it's tolerable only if you have your dick out during it. Big muscular guys pushing against each other in tight clothes is like, y'know). Iwashimizu is like, there are so few (attractive) anime guys that are bigger than me, and he's like bookwormy and shy to boot, just a perfect combination of traits for me (and he gets hella good fanart).


Yeah I started Free well after it aired, like, late 2015, but it was huge for me. Cause it was this combination of me watching anime for the first time, getting more used to my own sexuality, and the fact that there was like, hot gay stuff in anime form, it just hit in all the right ways, I was super obsessed with it at the time. Never really interacted with the fanbase though. Haru's really good, he's like...top 5 Frees at least, he's hot.

Hm I mean I have nothing against sports anime at all, I think it has its merits for sure, and I usually enjoy watching them, just not usually for the sports themselves. Like, I like Haikyuu and all, I just zone out when they're actually playing volleyball. For some reason Big Windup really sold me on its sports though, go figure. And oh yeah, you right, watching like regular human dudes playing basketball or whatever doesn't have anything going for it, only way to get me invested in it is if they're shiny anime boys with underlying sexual tension, that's good. I live in the deep South lol, it's all about football down here, not my thing (back in high school they always tried to get me to join the team cause I'm like, the right body type I guess, I never did though)

Ahh my first anime crush was actually Manami from Yowamushi Pedal. I watched that at anime club before Free, first time I ever thought like, wow anime guys can be cute, that's...cool. And I revisited that show last year, he's still top 10 worthy (even if the actual show's artstyle isn't the best, he's still just lovely). I loooove Kaoru from Ouran too, I was also into him pretty early on in my anime watching. Also the Hitachiins are the progenitor of all the fruity orange haired twins to come after them, I feel. I mean, I'm not much of a dom, yeah, but like, I can take a spineless bishie sure (or alternatively be taken by a bratty guy that would step on me, also works).

Ha yeah just sticking to the fanart is for the best, don't think I've ever gotten anything out of an actual idol show that I didn't get out of official/fan art. Kind of wish Ensemble Stars got more (good) fanart (though the official art is more than good enough to make for it), but SideM has a ton randomly, I've got like 1000+ pics of those guys.

Yeah Syo was actually one of the first guys I was really into as well, weirdly enough. Cause like, the first show that got me really into anime was Free and I loooooved Nagisa (and still do) and after I finished that I think I googled like "cute anime blond boys" or something like that and was like wowww he's good. Didn't actually watch Utapri till after I got into the mobile game like 2 years later, and that's still probably a mistake, but he's just so marriageable. He's only my #4 guy (cause Kirishima's got abs and a big dick, Arashi's just generally the prettiest and most fabulous guy, Kurapika is historic and I've already dropped him 3 positions in the last year), but he's like #1 on the "legitimately would marry" list. The criteria for the husbando list is very uh hand-wave-y. But yeah Hiro Shimono is great, one of my very favorite voice actors. He's just perfectly suited for short brats.

(maybe this is an unwarranted digression but can I go off a bit on canon thicc boys I'm super hard for. I think Hinata's like, 3rd place on having great ass/thighs in the canon (all Haikyuu guys are honestly, Bokuto is even thiccer, but Hinata's short so it adds). Cause for some reason Shuichi in Danganronpa is blessed with unreasonably tight pants and weirdly horny ass shots (namely this one), and all the fanart reflects him being stacked, and it's so good. Also, like, every guy in All Out. Garbage show but like *ideal* body type, I'm soooo thirsty for Iwashimizu especially but they're all hot as hell.)

Anyway, yeah Hinata is definitely a cutie, I also want to ruffle his hair. Frankly I have like no patience for like...watching sports, so he really carries the show for me (guess some of the other guys do too, but him Hinata primarily). And ooh hey nice. Only guy I bottom for really is Kirishima haha (but he's #1 so). I mean irl I'm primarily sub but anime guys are different, y'know. I had a phase where I was super horny for Arthur right when the show was airing, haven't seen much fanart of him sense. Shinra either really, though I haven't actively searched for him.

Yeah pretty sadist brats looking down on me are great, it's my favorite archetype, the "bratty power bottom". Though I mean, I like just about everything I guess if I had a *type* that's the first one that comes to mind. Kurapika I have a complex relationship with, like, I agree that he's very stiff and has questionable fashion choices, hair is not good in Yorknew arc, but at his core, he is this just kinda depressed cute blond twink that's been dealt a bad hand, and I like thinking about him just like living a normal life kinda? Like, having normal desires and actually finding some happiness in little things every now and again. He dropped down from 1 to 3 after I rewatched HxH though, he's just a little too sad for my tastes haha.

Idol shows are far from high art yeah. And yet I buy into them anyway cause they're just so dense with cute guys. Like, Idolish7 is legitimately good (starts off rough, but has tolerable drama in the later episodes, which is better than I can say for most) and I like SideM enough (except for the intolerable drama about the doctor dude), but otherwise it's not there. Utapri is dog shit. Like, yeah I play the mobile game daily and have spent ~$200 on merch and am ready to marry Syo right now, but like. It sucks, I absolutely can not defend anything about it. For some reason I've watched the Ensemble Stars anime twice now (I guess because I'm also a big M and like forcing myself to suffer through bad anime, sexy huh). It's real bad. But the thing about it is, the official art is super horny for some reason, the guys are the highest quality of all idol shows and I think legitimately charming. I talk about idols way too much I'll stop now for the sake of brevity this is my er well not "passion" but thing I can talk about most. Unfortunately.

And I'll comment on the guys you have listed here. Haven't watched Blue Exorcist, but Rin is indeed very nice looking, I have a decent sized fanart collection of him. Hinata is fuckin THICC as hell good god. The short body type with short thick thighs like that is just the best. Ghhh it's just so much. Don't know this Grimgar guy, but he has a nice armpit bearing outfit, always a good look. Sorey is cute enough, though more often than not I kinda just see him as just like, "Mikleo's top" (cause he's who I'm *real* hot for). Oreki was actually my very first #1 guy, back before I was even watching anime significantly, so I still think of him fondly. And Shinra's decent too but for some reason I'm really hot for Arthur (who's dumb and kinda sucks but he's just like, super hot to me).

Kuga has all the workings of a character I love, super short, super bratty, super gay, super self-obsessed. Excellent. My #1 guy for years was Kurapika, he gets absolutely nothing (unless it's like, gender swap, and I have no interest in girlified Kurapika). Arashi doesn't get anything either, all his best artwork is just straight out of the game honestly. Fortunately my #1 guy is from basic bitch shounen the fujos love, I'll take it. This iteration of Voltron is like a Western Netflix thing yeah? Danganronpa is my #1 favorite thingggg aaaaa (haven't watched the anime cause I've heard it's not adapted all that well). Especially the third game, Shuichi and Kokichi are just *perfect* and have tons of amazing fanart, I have more of them than anyone else. I'll spare you further thirstiness about them haha

Kazuma gets a ton of stuff yeah, mostly just cause of Tsukuru (whose stuff is usually pretty damn good, though I prefer their fanart since the doujins can get a little...much at times haha). Killua's pretty hot too, honestly. And oh I don't think I'm familiar with any of these you listed (have definitely seen the Touken Ranbu guy before though, he looks like that one guy from Danganronpa whose name escapes me). Xenoblade guy is pretty cute too. Can't think of any OC shota I like by like, name or artist or whatever, but I'm sure there's someone out there I like

I think the Hanako-kun manga is a bit better paced than the show, but I love the color palette and art style and voice acting of the show so much I'm willing to forgive it being a bit of a slog at times. I think the anime is just about as quality an adaptation as one could hope. Believe it or not though, I don't think I've thought to look up fanart of Hanako once... I'm gonna try to catch up on Uchitama today, I'm trying to finish a handful of shows before the end of the month (plus like, real life stuff that actually matters lol), but I don't wanna fall behind on seasonals so early on...

Yeah I think I remember some pretty quality Souma x Takumi doujins, can't remember how many translated, just remember them being good (now if only someone out there would make some quality art for Isshiki and Kuga, my search for good lewds of my best boys is endlessly frustrating ;_;). Not familiar with Voltron (though the guys do look hot from a brief google search), but Kirishima x Bakugou is my #1 hnghhhhh (well actually my #2, Kokichi x Shuichi from Danganronpa V3 is my favorite. I used to have a favorite ships section in my profile on Anilist like you have here but forgot to reinclude it after I renovated)

Yes shota are so good :p Killua and Kazuma from Summer Wars are my favorites. And ha thanks my husbando list is my passion project, I love all my boys (and I started a project to write about why I like all of them, which I kind of want to finish/make more legitimate, I kind of just have it in anilist posts at this point). And yeah length isn't everything, the quality is important too (which is also why Kirishima is my #1, if you catch my drift :eyes:)

Hanako-kun is a real class act, I like the manga a lot so I'm glad to see it get adapted, the show looks really good. Best boy Mitsuba-kun hasn't shown up yet though, I love him. I'm still an episode behind on Uchitama, but it's cute enough.

Honestly there's this one fanartist that does a lot of realllly cute Souma x Takumi fanart, and that's what sold me on the ship more than anything in the show. Though Takumi's kinda gayness/rivalry/admiration/whatever it is for Souma is like, just a really good dynamic
