Well, finished Dragon Ball last Friday. Guess I'll just have to watch the beginning of Dragon Ball Kai now.

"Ugh! Gaijin garbage!"

If you're picky you're going to miss out on good shows.

Even though I don't like dark shows I still watched Madoka. I think I have much room to speak about appreciate anime artwork since I actually drew fanart, got into anime because of the artstyle, started learning Japanese because I wanted to read the Japanese written on fanart and artists' works, and spend minutes gazing at single pages in manga just because of how much I adore the talent. That aside, to give up watching a show just for one simple reason is kind of ridiculous imo. In fact, I don't really like CG either, I actually quite dislike them. Along with that, a big reason I continue to watch anime is for the exposure to the Japanese language. Despite both of those going against my favor, I decided to give it a chance because I heard it was promising. It didn't disappoint.

To illustrate my point, I'm going to send you a picture via snapchat of a sketch I drew of Lala from To Love Ru.

Did a RWBY Marathon today. Didn't want to but my friend made me. Would have been more enjoyable split up into at least 3 days. Still an exceptionally good series nevertheless. It's surprisingly a very intrigue and elaborate story with many distinct and overall numerous characters. Would recommend to seinen fans who like action without filler. It sure passed any expectations I may have had.

Yea, punchline and pun based comedies tend to have low rewatch value and for the same reason that the mystery and suspense genres tend to have low rewatch value. If the best part is supposed to be the unexpected outcome, and you already know what's going to happen, you don't receive as much satisfaction. It's different from say, situational or slapstick comedy, or action or certain fantasy genres.

I may continue the anime at a later time.

Good to know.

I watched the first three episodes of Sakamoto desu ga? when there were only like 5 episodes out. I enjoyed the first one, but the follow two changed pace it seems. Instead of the focus being on Sakamoto being a suave, it was on him helping other people with their mundane lives. Does the show change pace back to what the first episode was like? I'm not sure I want to continue watching if it doesn't.

Only 3 episodes left of Non Non Biyori Repeat T_T

"Yeah with Runescape that might work but any other game would be a no-no. :P"

In the case of any other game, I would only listen to music or anime I'm not interested in.

"You probably could re-arrange season one and two into chronological order"

Yup. Another good aspect of Slice of Life is that in many cases you can watch episodes out of order. This season is starting out strong for sure. It's so good that it's one of those anime that I have to massive grind on RS to watch. I need to fish or swordfish or something so I can watch for long uninterrupted intervals to fully enjoy them. Then again, I do like saving anime like this - so I can get a taste of it everyday.

I saw that you finished Working!. How many seasons did that have?

"Old school right? I haven't played that in a long time."

Yup. Yea, I haven't seen you on. Not that I had any expectations for you to. I recently have been able to devote more time to it, as well as anime since I'm on break. The reason I was so busy this past year was because I needed to catch up after my study abroad. Next year shouldn't be so hectic.

"I don't plan on renewing it for obvious reasons"

:P

"The other broke a long time ago."

Yea, that happens.

"I have to focus on one thing or else I feel like I miss something."

I know how you feel, but when I grind a skill like agility or woodcutting, I barely pay any attention to RuneScape, so I don't feel like I miss anything though there are times when I'm doing something more click intensive like combat or runecrafting and I kind of just play a fall through anime on my kindle. Since I don't care too much about the anime I don't really care if I miss anything.

I did start Non Non Biyori Repeat, and it's interesting to see that its using the same time frame and setting but telling new stories. Reminds me of Yuru Yuri.

Since my summer break is quite open, I've been playing a lot of RuneScape and have been watching anime at the same time. I've been able to keep up membership through bonds, and as a member it's really easy to make money. I'm on my third week of membership, and I'm able to get a bond in one day whenever I need to. The other good part is that when I train skills like agility, I can marathon anime like Steins;gate or Dragon Ball Super. I'm going to start watching Non Non Biyori Repeat soon, probably today. you have two screens, right? My laptop died after four years, so I'm using the tower now. It doesn't have another screen, but I can use a modded kindle I got myself for my birthday to watch anime while doing whatever else with the computer.

What do you think about "Boku no Hero Academia?" Worth watching?
Chandler Jun 5, 2016 10:09 PM
"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLUqd-jEBuE Yeah boy!"

I actually haven't watched the final episode of the recent three OVAs. I got so annoyed that they took so long and produced so little that I started giving up on them ;P This better be worth the 4 year wait.
Chandler Jun 5, 2016 10:07 PM
"I don't remember this being announced at all? D:"

Yea, bastards took for fucking ever. They better get their heads out of their asses and make season three already ;P
