My name is JizzyBizzy. I'm Japanese. I’m 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.
When I was a child.....you've heard of Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, right? When I saw the painting in an art book.....when I saw that.....how should I say this? This might be a bit dirty but.....I got a boner. I cut off the part with her hands and hung it on my room for a while. I wanna cut off yours, too. I've killed 48 women with beautiful hands up to now. But you're the only one who knows my identity. "[If you think that everybody agrees with you, then] nobody agrees with you. You agree with everyone else. You agree with any stupid thing that any idiot says. For God's sake, learn to think for yourself!" - Hank Hill "No! The loli must stay!" - some executive at Trigger.

You can think of the marks as maximum ratios :10 of good to bad. For example, a 4/10 would have at most 40% positive things I can say about them and at least 60% negative things to say. I should bring up that the 10/10 anime shows are the reason I watch anime. I'm constantly on the quest for the next one of these and if I could somehow psychically know when I've already watched all of those that exist out there, I'd probably stop watching anime altogether.
One Punch Man Berserk: Oyasumi Punpun: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Vagabond: Too many qualify for me to list specific ones that stand out. Hakaijuu: Same problem here More will be added.

I've read your review on NGE, "one of the most universally praised, influential, popular, and overall beloved anime of all time", which is right. A lot of people call this series a Masterpiece, a bit of a stretch. I have NGE at around 8.5 on my Anime Scale, and around a 7 on my Universal Scale, which is a great rating. Stand-alone EoE is peak, NGE is good, overall they are great. I find NGE to be quite mediocre. The series had a lot of plot holes, layoffs, narrative neglection, trying too hard with the symbolism sometimes, fanservice, and some other things.
That's where you missed Jizzy.
Shinji is why NGE is great. Him and his relationships with other characters are the main good thing about the anime. Shinji is an amazing character, he is complex and has depth. If you want more about that, just search an analysis online or something, I'm not gonna write one in your comments.
I will read your Eva review and judge it very harshly
I think Cyberpunk won the anime of the year or something like that and people were mad about it. I haven’t really watched anime last year, but I can’t really recall anime that were as good and enjoyable like this one. I probably missed on some good ones, but still.
Some people probably didn't really take it too seriously since the first line was "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is easily one of the greatest anime ever made.", but i do kind of get your POV. I know quite a few of people call it bad and extremely overrated, but it was a really great experience and I personally enjoyed it a lot, finishing it in one sitting. C:E is one of the anime that left me with a good feeling after watching it, and did stick for a while, I originally rated the anime very high too.
I just finished episode 1 and I was "Wow, this is the shit.". At the time I just got back into watching anime and I'm really glad this was one of the first (maybe even the first) that I've watched. Studio Trigger did a phenomenal job with the visuals, atmosphere, setting and soundtrack. The anime was extremely enjoyable for the most part, and i really liked David as a protagonist. It had flaws with the story in the second half and other things, but we can't ignore all the other good aspects.
I can totally understand both the higher and lower ratings this anime received.
