I'm a devout Southern Baptist born-again Christian with a heart for and calling to Japan. Nothing means more to me in my life than God, and may that always be so. :-)

I first got into anime with Pocket Monsters (Pokemon) when I was about 12 years old. Even now it is still my all-time favorite anime. I watch all of my anime strictly in Japanese (subbed if I can get it that way). I also want to read my manga in Japanese, and am early on in Pocket Monsters Special.

In addition to almost everything about Japan, my interests also include How to Train Your Dragon, ice hockey (die hard Colorado Avalanche fan), animals, movies, and probably some other interests that escape my memory right now.
