Demon Slayer 6 bc all it has is really good animation, not enough story to keep me interested. When it's good (action scenes only), it's good. When there's no action scenes, it's sleeper. Bunny Girl Senpai is 3 bc there's 2 botched arcs, and the dialogue is poorly written and uncomedic/tasteless. Not to mention it's a half-assed attempt at being a Monogatari knock off, which is an actual good series you should go watch if you haven't already.
Silent Voice is 2 because it's a bad film when it comes to its message and execution, despite some scenes being really well adapted. It doesn't make any attempt at making the deaf girl anything more than a plot device and a romantic interest for MC. What's realistic about a girl who got viciously bullied by a guy suddenly falling for him a few days after they meet again? Not to mention the horrible character writing for all the other supporting cast; only genuinely palatable characters are MC and deaf girl's lil sis. The movie tried to cram too much shit into a 2 hour adaptation, leading to poor character development and plot progression. The source manga has some faults but does an infinitely better job at communicating its message and doing all the characters justice.
Before you judge me, which you evidently did in this incoherent attempt at an insult when you haven't read any of my reviews properly to see that I do pay attention (if anything, possibly more than you) to all the shows I watch, I watch more than 1 episode for every show in my watch list, whether it's current, completed, or dropped. Take Heion for example. I watched 6 episodes. That's around 2 hours of pure Idaten content that I sat through. Did Idaten get a bit better after EP 6? Maybe it did. Ysely seemed interesting. Miku was a bit over-the-top but more colourful than the other characters at least. But I don't think 2 decent to semi-good-ish characters is enough for me to continue watching a series that is otherwise completely lacklustre. Check yourself before coming and bitching to me.
