Honestly.. WHAT WENT WRONG? Attack on Titan was the epitome of pacing.. a balanced mix of action, mystery, thriller, political & military drama and a commentary on morality, chauvinism and racial prejudices..

There were well-placed mysteries & questions throughout the show which were always resolved in due time and the entire manga joined the dots in an extremely satisfying manner showing us the perspective of every side without antagonizing anyone..

The last 15 chapters completely DESTROYED whatever the rest of the manga stood for.. I don't want to dive into the details so as to not spoil the people who haven't read this abomination yet but ... those who have probably understand what I am referring to;

Unanswered Questions -Check
Reverting Character Development -Check
Unsatisfying Deus ex machina - -Check
Unexpected cliché "Happy Ending" -Check

As someone who has been keeping up with this story for years I have been left speechless and baffled... If Mr. Hajime Isayama's goal was to disappoint the readers he did an outstanding job!
