I'm a very selective anime/manga fan, especially since time is nowadays a hard to come by commodity (^^") ; but mostly due to a particular constitution which favours the strength of a plot, style and its emotive value compared to visuals and hype popularity.
Also a seiyuu fanatic, a literature junkie, tea guzzler and has a chemical romance with music.
I do not believe in "elite" critics/fans as everyone has their own preferences, and I abhor those who fail to respect that. We are all fans in our own ways, and the amount of hours we put in, merchandise we buy, etc. does not make one better than the others. Those who claim to have superior knowledge of anime/manga just because they consume a lot should not disrespect those without and vice-versa.
As the ratings of an anime/manga are subjective, everyone can have their own opinions without prejudice.
If you wish to try to spread and infect others with your interests (any genre is a-okay) in order to make this a better world though, do come by and leave a message.
I hardly favour leaving reviews either, since it does not usually encourage discussions, so if you would like to talk about something, I would appreciate a message as well.

grrrrr sameeeeeee Levi is not fan service, I think is mostly people hating "mainstream" but they are blind, he is a pretty in depth character, he has a lot of emotions that he just tries for his own good, he doesnt get his emotions get to his head (unlike Eren) , its a nice surviving skill honestly and he pains from it... he isnt inhuman, for me he may be one of the most human characters in the show and I hate when people cant see that :( Ep 55 was REALLY good.
I doubt average seiyuus have the money :( they are really underpaid... actually only very little seiyuu can live just with their voice acting profits and its just sad :( and it shows how most of them are so passionate about it that they dont care about payment.

Oh Ive heard many good reviews about Uta, I think I might check it out, I believe I never watched it because its a reverse harem and Im not fond of the genre (an exception would be Ouran haha I love that one)
HAHAHA omg thanks! Yes I like shounen, its not my favorite though, its hard to name my favorite genres, I believe sports its another genre Im really into , slice of life as well.
Kamiyan glaring was literally Levi XD, indeed his dedication and profesionalism was really shown on that video
I LOVE IZAYA AS WELL!!!! Its my favorite Kamiyan role too!!!!! its just that Izaya is such a complex character and Kamiya managed to portray every emotion perfectily, I cant imagine anyone more suited for that role seriously.. like you said it, he truly nailed to balance the character... my other favorites are Levi, Saiki, I think this is my top 3 but I love all his other roles as well...
oh yes Koyama Rikiya continues to be pretty active, and getting main character roles like in Karakuri circus.... I wonder what do seiyuus do when they retire :O
hahaha Saiki-Nendou combo is hilarious XD , I love that OnoD can go from all serious intimidating voices like Erwin Smith, to seductive ones like Sebastian to reallly goofy ones like Nendou or Juushimatsu
Btw I saw Mononoke in your list <3 such an underrated hidden gem, I loved Sakurai in it, perhaps his best role, the anime is gorgeous I loved the animation, I actually bought the dvd because the series truly mesmerized me >.<

hahah yessss I started with AOT, then I thnk I watched Code Geass and Death note XD I started with pretty good anime actually, I think thanks to these 3 I fell in love with anime and here I am 5 years later lol

YES you summarized seiyuu struggles perfectly... but even veterans must have it tough sometimes... specially since the industry tends to hire new seiyuus recently because they are "cheaper" :(...but I also agree they should give new seiyuus a chance , ugh tough choices.. .
oh WOW how could I forgot to mention HanaKana <3 she is awesome too!!!! I love her voice and im glad she is being more versatile now... because honestly she nails the job but her range of voice isnt that huge..
hahah I have seen a couple on youtube ^^ but dont remember much >.< I remember they were hilarious though, they do have a nice chemistry (I mean it in a friendly no shipping way!!) I love it when they are an anime duo like Izaya-Shizuo (myyyyy favooooriteeeee) and Levi-Erwin, Saiki-Nendou to name a few <3
HAHAHA Kaji and Shimono are also a hilarious duo, Ive seen a couple of their videos too.... love how close they grew after AOT <3
Kamiya was the first seiyuu that made me fall in love with seiyuus... AoT was one of the very first anime I saw and DAMN I fell for his voice....then I met Junjun, Sakurai, Kaji, Nobu and many others.. <3 its just such a wonderful job they do and I feel its underappreciated most of times
I LOVE YOUR LIST TOO.. Heck Ono D is one of my faves too (I love the Kamiyan-OnoD combo), Kakihara Tetsuya's voice is really sexy haha, I believe Kouki Uchiyama is my number 10 spot , Miyuki Sawashiro HAS to bee my favorite female voice actor (its hard for me to identify female voices lol... I think just her, Romi Park and Maaya Sakamoto are the ones I never fail to reconize)
