Dude u should try to give the 3-gatsu no lion anime really a chanche. Shaft really outdid themselves esp. in the second season which was really the highlight. At least try the second season with the bullying arc, believe me its worth it.
If you never had any expectations of Shimoneta maybe you approached it incorrectly... it's clearly a comedy, so I'm not sure if you thought all LNs are serious or something. It's also a sociological thesis in a way, so your dropping it so quickly (when it's... 13 eps?) - is disappointing in itself.
It really struck a chord with me. Especially the part about entitlement. I've always noticed the aggressive and overly critical comments about authors and artists, too often undeserved and not supported by any logic or reason. They excuse their behaviour by saying that authors create for feedback and they have to accommodate the expectations of their fans. Coming from people who in their majority have not even spent any money on manga and anime. Respect? Appreciation? Words that are missing from their vocabulary. This seriously makes my blood boil.
