I swear anime gets worse and worse every season, bring back the golden age of anime where all seasonal anime were good and memorable and not just 3 good anime per season while the others are bland and forgettable.

Just a 21 year old French guy who has fun watching anime and doesn't know how to rate and like Hatsune Miku and anime with sad things xd.

If my Mean Score is ridiculously high it's because i don't know how rate correctly, I'm the guy who "oh i liked, then 10/10", but here is my thing: the more boring the anime is, the lowest the score is, but if the quality, how i enjoyed (while it was boring), or how the anime is well explained or not, it can change the note. So a 10/10 is mostly because it was cool, fun or not boring to watch. I know it's not accurate.
And for the top of the top, I can rate on how the anime touch me (Just watch my top 10 anime you will understand), or just because it was absolutly insane in every way.
For anime that have a bad score, its just because it was annoying/boring as hell, or because it wasn't well explained normally (mostly because it was rushed for exemple).
Btw if I try to rate correctly (I will probably do it one day), you can remove around 1.50-2.00 points from my Mean Score. That's why I created an Anilist account but I'm too lazy to update all my ranking.

I also have a stupid goal during my life, watch a lot of unknow/(very) old/underrate anime (like under 2014 to 2000), I will probably never do this, I want to know how people enjoyed anime before, and also how good they was at that time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (Just watch this AMV from 2010, you may understand why I want to do this) Thats why I also want to start Visual Novel since they are less famous and kinda forgotten nowaday. (or not idk)
There is also another reason: As a fan of old Nightcore (Flying High, Waves, Castle in the sky, Last Resort, In These Days, The End, This is Nightlife... 2014-2009 Nightcore) (Playlist Here) I always wanted to know from what Anime/Visual Novel the Background of the video come from, since video are old, anime too.

About Visual Novel, I plan to play/read a lot of them, but I will surely focus on VN later in my life when I'll be able to read Japanese (yeah one day).

Same for Light Novel/Web Novel or even Manga, I plan to read a lot too, I've never been a guy who read a lot (even when I was younger and even now), but I'm trying to change myself to read more and more mostly by starting to read more manga and VN.

Why do I do this ? because Special/OVA/ONA count for an entire anime on MAL, but they usually have 1 or 2 episode so I prefer to count different from MAL. Of course anime that are only OVA/ONA/Movie only and have nothing else count as an Anime.
