Legend of the star chaser is one of those gems that you stumble upon from the 1980's the makes you remember why you loved anime in the first place.
Essentially the story of TTGL, but LOGH type animation, it has essences of zelda in, a blond haired boy who has help from a fairy and a magical sword, star wars with the evil robot over lords the darth vader type character and the princess as well as the spunky smuggler with streets smarts and a thirst for cash not to mention his implied sexual persuasion of the robotic type and semi erotic relationship with a fembot he makes his ''slave'' in an interesting way. the visuals are amazing, the story is basically the same old save the people and become some kind of GOD with a very subtle hint of Mormon subtext in it if you know what you are looking for, which doesn't detract from the brilliant story and animation.
If you love anime you must watch this you will love it, and if you are from the 1980's you will be transported back to your child hood and nostalgia of those better and hopeful times.

So here's a funny one: I glanced at my old forum posts here at MAL and noticed your post right here. So I came by to let you know how happy it makes me someone else appreciates those games and now... Now I see I already made a lenghty comment on your profile nearly 4 years ago about that same thing.
...That was awkward.
........I-i-it's not like I wanted to comment you about it again, BAKA! *runs off*
I don't like paragraphs, they're scary.
Of course it is, but it doesn't mean he was in the team he could have been but no one will ever know.
Uhh.. Ghost hunt was pretty good, and that new show as well.. I think proper murder mystery is very like zombie anime in Japan. Practically non existent, even if they are there are usually ghosts in the mix ):
Seen Columbo and stuff, I used to watch MONK quite a bit as well haha. You should try newer stuff like Castle and The mentalist. I usually get bored of tv shows if I have to wait every week but I still watch these <3
I love the idea of a mystery, I guess it's my parents influence haha. I always loved problem solving and stuff as a kid, I guess I was just really curious. I mean I love like action and stuff, in fact I like most genres mystery and comedy just seem to be above the rest for me (:
Haha that would. I guess there was a bit in Kuroshitsuji and Godchild. One through the eyes of the killer or detectives tracking him would be beast though.
Haha, accepted, and you too man.
I mean, I can't call "meat" to something like a prawn that is not composed by muscle as we know it, can I?
Except seafood, those are mineral for the most part.
Sorry about that, I hope I answered your question in some way. :)
The sensibility for things like death, corpses and living things just kind of leaves you with the time. At first, I felt offended when my colleagues played around with the corpses of dogs and cats. Now, it simply does not matter, because no matter what we do, they are just lifeless lumps of meat.
But yeah, I get exactly what you mean.
1. I knew that but there was no definite connection
2. Everybody who has even read anything about Jack the Ripper knows this.
3. True, but he would have at least told someone or written about it somewhere no?
4. I don't even understand this one
And ahahahahahahaha. I guess it's a possibility, it having been Sir Henry Little-John is also a possibility as he'd have been able to keep tabs on the police?
Doyle said that the character of Holmes was inspired by Dr. Joseph Bell, for whom Doyle had worked as a clerk at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Like Holmes, Bell was noted for drawing large conclusions from the smallest observations.[1] Sir Henry Little-John, Lecturer on Forensic Medicine and Public Health at the Royal College of Surgeons, is also cited as a source for Holmes. Little-John served as Police Surgeon and Medical Officer of Health to the City of Edinburgh, Scotland, providing for Doyle a link between medical investigation and the detection of crime.[2]
I wish.
Woah, actually? That's pretty fucking cool. I've been to London before but only for a few days, I didn't get to do much :/
Just because Sherlock Holmes is awesome? I was gonna make the thread but Moimy beat me to it. That's what I was going to name it so I asked him to put it up (:
