I value plot, characters, and pacing above all else by a wide margin; although I can still definitely appreciate a show's strengths in other areas too. I also tend to be more forgiving of flaws than your average viewer if I feel a show clearly excelled elsewhere. I also couldn't care less if a show happens to be artistically complex or technically advanced; all that matters to me is simply how fun a show is to watch. Finally, it's worth noting that I have a slight bias towards Thriller, Romance, and Fantasy series while also having a slight bias against Slice Of Life, Sports, and Ecchi series. As for Action and Comedy, the impact those can have on a show for me varies wildly from largely positive to largely negative depending on how well they're executed.
