Aldnoah zero, oh boy, I can easily understand why people don't like... first, the two part of the show are for one, pure action suspense, 2nd part, political drama.
After that, two character that receives one gun shot to the head are put into coma, but they both wake up in the span of 19 months max.
One character does not have much developpment, but thats because Inaho, even if he is 15 years old, is an asperger, so he is already mature. Slaine on the other hand has so much depth during the second part of the show that most people will struggle to understand its actions.

For having such a cliche premise, it wasnt cliche at all in the end, and the body counts with people that only appear in the show is quite high... That war made at least 100 000 death on screen, and billions off screen.

Mayoiga is not for everyone at all... if you hate stupid and/or insane characters, well, 3/4 of the 30 characters in this are like this. Also, the whole plot make sense only if you listen to the whole thing. Having that many stupid and/or insane characters is normal is such a scenario though, so that's why I still say it was a good show. One last bit, the show should have been a big fail, but instead ends up explaining most of itself quite well, surprisingly.

A good watch when you want to see a trainwreck that in the end, doesnt happen.

Yeah, I only watched Zestiria's anime because it was meant to be a crossover with Berseria; iirc, Berseria being a prequel set in the same world. I could never take to Zestiria's pacifistic dullard lead and quit that game. It's a real pity Magilou didn't get to be in a full-fledged adaptation as I'm sure she'd be a favourite on 'ere. Not everyone plays the Tales of games, after all. Got quite a few comments over her.

Her MAL description always makes me internally chuckle: "Magilou is an extroverted and chatty woman on the outside, but there is something sinister about her."

Ufotable did an okay job on Symphonia. Was a bit rushed as an OVA, though.

Magiloulou is a funny character with her reactions and bullying Velvet (/the dove scene), and by far my favourite character from the game, but what I liked the most about her was the cynical world view she held; often sarcastically insulting the other characters. Her characterisation is quite interesting in that she plays the fool, costume and all, yet it's a facade to distance herself from others. She both made me laugh and intrigued me.

..but, yeah: she's as sharp as she is amusing. Glad someone else appreciated her. Just a pity the anime kinda sucked and she was barely in it.

J'ai en effet lu que le film donne une autre fin (ou d'un autre point de vue comme tu dis) je vais le regarder sous peu et j'espère obtenir plus de réponses que dans l'autre fin O_O. Dans tous les cas, ça changera peu mon appréciation de la saison en tant que telle, mais au moins si ça peut me donner une fin plus satisfaisante je dis pas non O_O
