agreed mostly with your baccano review, though i've been thinking about the choice of a non-linear narrative. it seems kind of superfluous and almost ostentatious, like the director is kind of just flexing. but i think there are actually key plot details that would be revealed "too early" if the story was told linearly. i haven't bothered to map out the timeline of events, i'm sure someone's already done that, but i'm fairly certain the non-linearity was necessary sometimes. for instance, the episode that covers the event where it all starts feels awkwardly placed in the middle, but i don't think you could place that anywhere else in the episode order. most of the time, though, i do agree the choice was for pure style.

UDDUP -> Until Death Do As Part (Sampai maut memisahkan kita), hehe :D Volume belasannya ada crossovernya dengan J (Jesus) dan Aegis in the Dark :) Belum lama ini ditamatkan Level...

Blade of Immortal itu paling keren!

Komik mesum terkocak nomor satu!

Ceritanya lumayan berat (bg saya waktu dulu, agak lupa soalnya)... Bersama Blame dan AirGear menjadi bacaan saya waktu SMA. Meski yang mengumpul/koleksi teman.

(Sampai saat ini *tentatif) Komik level terbaik (yang sudah saya baca) itu masih diduduki dua komik samurai; (1) Blade of Immortal dan (2) Vagabond :) Selanjutnya ada Historie, Rainbow, 20th-21st Century, UDDUP, & Yugo the Negotiator series. Sekarang lg mencari Shin Angyo Onshi (maaf kalau salah penulisan), penasaran soalnya :D

Memang bagus, sangat realistik.

Btw, kalau anime Giant Killing sesuai gak sama jalan cerita komiknya?

Your Steins;Gate review was on point. Probably the most overrated anime of all time. My guess is that weebs like it so much because they can relate to the retarted cast and the sad part is that weebs currently are the majority of anime community.

Steins;Gate show did everything right in terms of making itself relatable to the anime community but overall was a very mediocre series. Nowhere near a masterpiece as everyone says it is.

Thats actually quite sad to hear...I really like to check out obscure titles.Sadly it has been a really long time since I checked that blog and it was just a random find and I actually tried searching for it again not long ago but with no results...Sorry!
