Yayy, I'm so glad!!! I feel like that show restored my faith in modern anime; I think it's going to be one of those things that people regard as a "classic" in the future. ;-;

I thought everyone watched Toy Story but I put it here just to make sure. I'm still amazed by how everything there clearly has purpose, nothing is just there.

It's hilarious how the film was considered groundbreaking for pioneering computer animation. The writing is next level.

Pi - My all-time favorite film. It's a true psychological thriller that thrills you with the psychological journey of its character.

Eraserhead/Lost Highway - Two surrealistic film. The first one is hardcore. Lost Highway is more accessible. Lynch uses a similar technique to Kubrick, lingering on images. He does it better and tends to have more unusual images.

Ed Wood - One of the funniest comedies and the most engrossing dramas.

The Toy Story trilogy - Worth the hype. A strong candidate for the best animated work ever. Its depth can fly over your head when you're young.

The Iron Giant - Gives Toy Story a run for its money

Se7en - The best 'seriel killer who babbles philosophy' thing. The twist is not just surprising, but meaningful.

Nothing - Two guys stuck in nothing. Hilarious and thoughtful

District 9 - Well, it's D9. A weird film that's somehow still very accessible.

The Fly - A romance trapped inside a horror film

The Social Network - The best soundtrack ever, and a biting satire of the dream of 'be a programmer, get paid'.

Burn After Reading - Coen Brothers' comedy reaches its apex.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm glad you found some value in it.

That's a mighty nice list of film there. I'm not a fan of Space Odyssey though. It feels like an amature arthouse film.
