Semi fleshed-out characters, or at least somewhat enjoyable ones, existing in an increasingly batshit insane plot with a cute romance element to mask how chaotic this production actually is. Probably your guilty pleasure choice, regardless of it's even more awful third act.
From the people who bought out MAL from Xinil, comes another of their subpar mobile games! An anime PV so average they themselves removed it from Youtube and made it bloody difficult to track down. With some shots proving to be animated really well, others where merely panning static images. Now we know where their MAL budget went...
Oregairu series 2's tone change as heavy as lead, with the full weight it's melodrama and character development behind it to exemplify such. Apparent flaws (like questionable pacing) ignored for it's stellar strengths (realism in place of the usual cliche genre-specific/general anime cop-outs).
Oregairu series 1 doesn't seem to vary from the typical school dramedy at first glance, but this impression is often quickly replaced. Bonus points to the very real feeling protagonist. A fun introduction to what becomes more drama heavy in series 2.
Cute characters, cute moments, no character development - i.e. jealousy and trust unaddressed. But who needs that when you have gay fucc ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ...Nvm, she never moved past her naive innocence either.
Join Nishikata as you undertake a journey of agonising teasing, undesired outcomes, and enough sweetness to give you diabetes concerns. Best watched with the thought of it being similar to a series of 4-koma skits.
Another case of refreshing concept, poor execution. It wasn't too cautious of using it's contentious choice of characters, as there were some risky jokes, it just didn't deliver anything remarkable - be it humour, characterization, or plot.
