I try not to be too harsh with my ratings.

Art and media is highly subjective because it's mired in emotional response and that's not inherently logical, deconstructable, repeatable or systematic so far as the scientific method goes.

That said, if you're giving a current season/airing show which hasn't finished broadcasting a 10, after having seen 1 episode you're part of the problem.
