'Shinmai Ossan Boukensha, Saikyou Party ni Shinu hodo Kitaerarete Muteki ni Naru.' Reveals Additional Cast, Staff, Theme Songs, Second Promo

The official website of the Shinmai Ossan Boukensha, Saikyou Party ni Shinu hodo Kitaerarete Muteki ni Naru. television anime revealed additional cast staff, the theme songs, and a second promo on Friday. The television anime is set to air on July 2 at 2:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo, followed by MBS and BS TV Tokyo.

Ryuho Nagaoka and Katsuyuki Konishi (Kimetsu no Yaiba) are joining the cast as Linx Laurot and Kelvin Urwolf, respectively.

Akira Kushida (Dragon Ball Super) is performing the opening theme "Kouya ni Sake yo Boukensha-tachi," which is previewed in the promotional video below. Chiai Fujikawa (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari) will peform the ending theme "Sagashimono."

Shin Katagai (Akkun to Kanojo) is directing the anime at Yumeta Company. Kasumi Tsuchida (Lapis Re:LiGHTs) is handling the series composition, and Mari Eguchi (Maoujou de Oyasumi animation director) is designing the characters. Tomotaka Oosumi (Benriya Saitou-san, Isekai ni Iku) is composing the music.

The anime adapts Kiraku Kishima's fantasy adventure novel, which began on the Kakuyomu website in June 2018. Hobby Japan acquired the novel and published the first volume under their HJ Novels imprint in December 2018, featuring illustrations by Tea (Akuyaku Reijou Level 99: Watashi wa Ura-Boss desu ga Maou dewa Arimasen). The 13th volume was released on January 19.

Ken Ogino began serializing a manga adaptation in Comic Fire in November 2019. The ninth volume went on sale on March 1.
