Synopsis

Determined to pursue his glorious childhood dreams, 30-year-old Rick Gladiatol, a modest clerk in the adventurers' guild, is offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity after he fatefully encounters the dark elf Reanette Elfelt. Reanette happens to be an elite adventurer of the legendary party Orichalcum Fist, whose members welcome Rick under the condition that he follow a Spartan training.

Two years later, Rick is finally ready to take the E-Rank exam officially qualifying him as an adventurer. However, raw magical power can only be developed until one turns 20. As such, Rick faces the general hostility of fellow participants and examiners alike, leaving him no choice but to show the world that his hellish training has turned him into an invincible warrior.

TL:DR
Art: 8/10 (design-wise isnt impressive but the details on hair and muscles show the love that was put into the art)
Animation: 8/10 (i was expecting that horrendous 3d and moving jpeg-like animation but it was actually GOOD? what the hell??!)
Story: 9/10 (The reason is stated below, i can only sum to ''there's beauty in simple things'')

Do i reccomend it?: YOU SHOULD WATCH IT YOURSELF, NOW

Anyway, here's the essay.

Mixed Feelings
This is a pretty good series with a pretty good premise, in my opinion. I love the power fantasy vibe in any kind of medium and this one has that and more. What I do not enjoy, also in any medium, is a steadfast reliance on flashbacks. If I'm supposed to know something, weave it into the narrative and don't cut away from things just to be like "oh by the way, here are ten minutes of explanation about this particular thing, which may or may not be vital to your enjoyment."

For a super light spoiler, there's a sequence about why the party was formed. ...

Preliminary (8/12 eps)
Shinmai Ossan Boukensha, Saikyou Party ni Shinu hodo Kitaerarete Muteki ni Naru feels like a shallow attempt to capture the same magic as One-Punch Man but falls short in almost every way. The protagonist comes off as hollow, with an empty sense of justice that seems to lack any real foundation or depth. Even after watching several episodes, it's still unclear what truly drives the main character. Their motivations feel superficial and directionless, leaving viewers disconnected from the story.

The supporting characters are decent but nothing special. Like the protagonist, they are overpowered, and the entire team feels like an unbeatable force with no real struggles. ...
