'Maougun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta' Announces Supporting Cast

The official website of the Maougun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta (The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army Was a Human) television anime announced three additional cast members on Wednesday. The television anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2024 on Tokyo MX and BS Asahi.

Alistair: Manatsu Murakami (Kuro no Shoukanshi)
Fiorentina: Yumi Uchiyama (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu)
Romberg: Cho (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!)

Norihiko Nagahama (Noumin Kanren no Skill bakka Agetetara Nazeka Tsuyoku Natta.) is helming the anime at Studio A-CAT. Touko Machida (Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki) is handling the series composition, and Masami Sueoka (Noumin Kanren no Skill bakka Agetetara Nazeka Tsuyoku Natta.) is designing the characters. Kohta Yamamoto (Mato Seihei no Slave) is composing the music.

The anime adapts Anajiro's manga adaptation of Ryousuke Hata's action fantasy novel. Hata began writing the original story as a web novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in February 2016. Futabasha acquired the novel and published the first volume under its Monster Bunko imprint in September 2016, featuring illustrations by KUMA. Futabasha published the fifth and final volume in April 2018.

Anajiro began drawing the manga adaptation in Monster Comics magazine in August 2019. The tenth volume went on sale on January 30, with the 11th volume scheduled for a June 14 release.
