'Ao no Miburo' Announces Cast, Fall 2024 Premiere
The official website of the Ao no Miburo (The Blue Wolves of Mibu) television anime revealed the cast and and a teaser visual (pictured) on Friday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2024.Cast
Nio Chirinu: Shuuichirou Umeda (Zom 100: Zombie ni Naru made ni Shitai 100 no Koto)
Toshizou Hijikata: Youhei Azakami (Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri)
Souji Okita: Kensho Ono (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze)
Hajime Saitou: Chiaki Kobayashi (Jigokuraku)
Tarou Tanaka: Shun Horie (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu)
Kamo Serizawa: Ryouta Takeuchi (Mahoutsukai no Yome)
Isami Kondou: Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama)
Kumiko Habara (100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru) is directing the anime at Maho Film. Kenta Ihara (Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu) is handling the series composition. Yuuko Ooba (Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyou desu) and Miyako Nishida (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.) are designing the characters. Yuuki Hayashi (Boku no Hero Academia) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Tsuyoshi Yasuda's historical samurai manga, which began in Weekly Shounen Magazine in October 2021. Kodansha published the 11th volume on November 16.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in July and plans to release the first volume on February 27 next year.
