'High Card' Unveils Supporting Cast, Second Promo

The official website of the High Card television anime revealed two supporting cast members, a second key visual (pictured) and second promotional video on Sunday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on January 9 at 20:00 on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11.

Toshiyuki Morikawa (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 4: Diamond wa Kudakenai) and Rie Takahashi (Tensai Ouji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu) are joining the cast as Greg Young and Sugar Pease.

Junichi Wada (Sakugan) is directing the anime at Studio Hibari. Kenichi Yamashita (Major 2nd), Kazuhiko Inukai (Baki), and Shingo Nagai (Caligula (TV)) are penning the script. Nozomi Kawano (Radiant) is designing the characters, and Ryou Takahashi (SK∞) is composing the music.

The anime is part of a mixed media project collaboration between Kadokawa, pachinko developer Sammy Corporation, and animation studio TMS Entertainment. Their project also includes a manga, drama CD, and novel.

Yeah, they do pull the cards out like that, it's kind of amusing. "2 of clubs I choose you!" .
