'Shin Tennis no Ouji-sama: U-17 World Cup' Unveils Additional Cast, Fourth Promo

The official website of the Shin Tennis no Ouji-sama: U-17 World Cup (The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup) television anime revealed five additional cast members and a fourth promotional video, previewing the members of team Australia on Thursday. The new season is scheduled to premiere on TV Tokyo in July 2022.

Jean Fitzgerald: Masamichi Kitada (Megalo Box)
Chris Hopman: Shunsuke Takeuchi (Shakunetsu Kabaddi)
Mily Milman: Yuu Miyazaki (Haikyuu!! To the Top)
Mac McGregor: Genki Ookawa (2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu)

Keiichirou Kawaguchi (SKET Dance) is helming the new season at Studio Kai and M.S.C.. Mitsutaka Hirota (Edens Zero) is handling the series composition. Akiharu Ishii (Shin Tennis no Ouji-sama) is the character designer and chief animator director.

The original sports manga by Takeshi Konomi was published in Weekly Shounen Jump from 1998 to 2008. The sequel manga began in Jump SQ the following year. Shueisha will publish the 36th volume on July 4.

The television anime series follows the events of the previous installment, Shin Tennis no Ouji-sama OVA vs. Genius 10 (The Prince of Tennis II OVA vs Genius10). The latest installment, Ryouma! The Prince of Tennis Shinsei Movie: Tennis no Ouji-sama, premiered in Japan on September 3.
