I'm not confusing anything, are they going to give an action to the studio that basically does romance with medium animation?

When Kadokawa can't count on the big and medium (busy) studios, it plays to anyone else to produce, trying to capitalize on the success of the original material. The problem is they play for any studio to do. This is the case with this work, they want to capitalize on good source material by destroying it in a production with a weak studio.
This is nothing new, Kadokawa does this all the time, but as they previously produced most of their publications for good and medium studios, we didn't notice. Now reality has changed, and many large and medium studios are busy with other works, sometimes works published by Kadokawa herself. So they decide to send the works to be adapted for "the rest".
Patinum Vision, with all due respect, is the rest. Just as Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion (Studio NAZ), announced in 2017 on Kadokawa's stand at Anime Expo, and exhibited in 2018, was a complete failure to adapt, Kadokawa intends to do the same with this work. I repeat: what they do is not new, the problem is that we didn't realize it, because they had the big and medium studios at their disposal, so it went unnoticed. Once again Kadokawa ruins an adaptation.
Platinum Vision is not to blame, it's a new studio with little baggage, and it needs a good director to be able to do works that provide rhythm and greater contacts for the studio. Blame it on Kadokawa, who is unable to produce his works decently by capable studios, when these in turn are not available.
TL:DR.
Anyway, excited for this one as the manga is pretty good.

they worked on some action shows like Servamp, devil's line and one of the sequels of Saiyuuki so they might do a decent job.
