Not every other season. It's every season (it might feel every other season to you because not all seasons are in the genre you interest in)

Them and some other labels are constantly pumping out these titles- and Comic festa has been adapting them into these 5 min episodes every other season.

H8ntai aimed at women usually makes the female attractive- maybe to make it believable? I guess most of the readers are not into the female equivalent of the "ugly bastard" just to able to self insert or something (even a good portion of males consuming H*ntai are not fond of that trope either so it's not surprising that female fans would want that for the female MC).

The webmanga versions are definitely better- the episodes feel too short

Question.
Is Animefesta worth the watch?
What is Animefesta anyway? I never heard of that.

Maybe it's just me, but while the male ecchi rarely tries to make men attractive, the female ecchi almost always tries to make the female character attractive to men. Is this a deliberate attempt to appeal to men?

Dunno, maybe they want to self insert as a pretty babe? To be honest, fugly girls getting a harem would be kinda off to them?

I never got why most self-insertions for males have manlet jap physique and Kirito or Touma Hairstyles. Cant you give a decent look to your cardboard-kun?

Well, if you remember the first reverse harems, then MC's physical or mental problems were a fairly common trope back then. Shoujo usually only makes a heroine very beautiful when you need to justify why so many ikemen are obsessed with her pussy.

This is basically a depersonalized image as much as possible in the hope that literally any fan can self-insert into it. This is also the one of the reasons why many people mistakenly consider yuri or BL to be more "equal" for male and female characters, because in this case, both parts of the pair are made attractive and developed for the target audience.

Well, think about where you will see more focus and fan service for both partners, in a straight pair from everydude and hot waifu, or from two hot waifu? This is the case when the audience misunderstands the goals of self-inserting and ends up choosing an option that "removes" them from the context altogether. This is where we come to understand why so many slash fans fantasize more about watching than participating.

Is more niche than even BL (amd, ofc, vanilla shoujos/joseis), but there is a market for such things. They REALLY do push way to the fine line of Borderline H on those tittles.

In the last years some finally started getting some adaptations, mostly 10 min. Examples:

Amai Choubatsu (rapey ward officer/inmate girl who is married, NTR issues, humiliation as well)

Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita (josei smut say trans right /LOL. A late teen girl is seduced by a blonde onee-sama and goes to bed with her...she has a penis, they still do it anyway; wonder if translesbians even liked it, considering how pushy their older representative was on the girl...def not those of twitter)

25-sai no Joushikousei (student-teacher, as the student has actually 25 and is just pretending to be a teen -LMAO, anime- teacher dude does smutty blackmail)

And there is one about bald fetish...yup, some girls on Japan seem to be into THAT, to have market.

In that case, I'm surprised. Usually ecchi anime is not very popular with girls unless it is BL.

I don’t think they’re are going to do a NTR or threesome situation because I am up to date with the manga and it doesn’t show any kind of NTR or threesome situations at all. This new character is literally just a love rival who is going to be introduced into the anime. If the anime does stick with the manga story, then there should be no NTR or threesome

That sounds like excellent news to me. I haven't read the manga yet, but it is on my plan to read section once I can start buying it. Strangely this was the first anime I watched that is basically anywhere near hentai, but the two main characters drew me to the series. So I do hope it stays true to its source since I was excited to hear about a second season.

I will say the manga is definitely better than the anime itself since it seems like it’s really short, and they cut out a lot of the details. So, I highly recommend reading the manga as well! :) I also do love this manga/series overall because they focus a lot on one-on-one relationships, which we do not get a lot in hentai because hentai is mainly ‘targeted’ for men, so it involves all that threesome and harem stuff. Overall, hopefully they stay true with the source as you said.

I hope it is neither, but that is only wishful thinking. I loved the chemistry between the two characters an throwing in an ex to the mix is just bad taste.

3some or ntr? I prefer the latter ngl.

May 20, 2021 10:36 PM by reicchi-sensei

Sad that I'll probably avoid watching the second season. Judging from that visual art I'm not into potential threesome crap. First season to me was great an really loved it, but this doesn't look promising.
