'2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu' Unveils First Promo, Main Cast, Staff

The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Yukako Kabei's 2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu (2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Club) light novel series revealed main cast, staff, teaser visual (pictured), and first promotional video on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to broadcast on Fuji TV's noitaminA programming block on Fridays at 12:55 a.m. in January 2021, among other stations.

Kabei began publishing the sports novel under the Shueisha Bunko imprint in March 2015, featuring illustrations from Aiji Yamakawa (Stand Up!). The third arc concluded in September 2018 with the series fifth volume. Kabei began penning the fourth arc in November 2019 with the publication of the first chapter, subtitled Next 4 Years. A short spin-off was released in October 2016, titled Sora e no Josou: Fukuhachi Kogyou Koukou Undou-bu (Running to the Sky: Fukuhachi Technical High School Athletic Club).

Yamakawa began serializing a manga adaptation in Cocohana magazine last July. The series has been on hiatus since the publication of its last chapter in October 2018.
