'Skate-Leading☆Stars' Reveals Production Staff, Additional Cast for Summer 2020

The official website of J.C.Staff's original anime series Skate-Leading☆Stars revealed additional cast, production staff, the first promotional video, and the first key visual (pictured) on Monday. The anime will debut on both television and streaming services in July 2020.

TETSU from the Bugs Under Groove dance team is serving as the performance director. Former competitive figure skater Hirokazu Kobayashi (Prince Ice World) is collaborating with TETSU on the choreography. Takao Sakuma, vocalist of the now-disbanded rock band Fo'xTails, is performing the opening theme "Chase the core."

Gorou Taniguchi (Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch, Junketsu no Maria) is leading the production as the chief director. Manga creator Yana Toboso (Kuroshitsuji) is in charge of the original character designs.

I like it's a new (fictional) form of team figure skating, everyone is pretty!

Nojima brothers voicing brothers in the anime. - that's the only thing I noticed.

Still needing time to decide if I want to watch it, though.

The concept doesn't appeal to me on paper, at least not particularly, but hey...I'll wait to see an episode or two before judging anything. Which is the reasonable approach, in my opinion.
