TV Anime 'Kingdom 3rd Season' Announces Additional Cast
The official website for Studio Signpost's anime adaptation of Kingdom announced additional cast members on Monday. In addition to the cast, the website also revealed their respective character designs. The series is scheduled to air in April 2020 via NHK-G.
The main production staff for the series was announced in December of last year and includes director Kenichi Imaizumi (Gokukoku no Brynhildr) and character designer Hisashi Abe (Devil May Cry). Noboru Takagi (Kuroko no Basket) will be in charge of the series composition. Pierrot Plus was also announced to be replaced by Studio Signpost.
Kingdom is based on the military-themed manga of the same name penned by Yasuhisa Hara. The manga was serialized in Weekly Young Jump in 2006 and currently has 56 compiled volumes released, with the latest one released in November 19. Kingdom was the third best-selling manga series of 2019 in Japan.
The manga series received two three-cours television anime adaptations by Studio Pierrot, which aired in Summer 2012 and 2013, respectively. The series was also adapted into a live-action film in 2018.

Great designs for the Coalition Army commanders.
Now all we need is a PV then we can know where we stand with this adaptation.
