Manga 'Hayate no Gotoku!' to End

This year's 15th issue of Shounen Sunday has revealed that manga Hayate no Gotoku! will end in six chapters. The issue will officially be released on March 8.

Hayate no Gotoku! is drawn by Kenjirou Hata and has been serialized in Shounen Sunday since October 2004. The series has inspired four TV anime seasons in Spring 2007 by SynergySP, Spring 2009 by J.C.Staff, Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 by Manglobe, as well as multiple OVAs. An anime film titled Hayate no Gotoku! Heaven Is a Place on Earth premiered in August 2011.

Shogakukan published the 50th compiled volume of the manga on February 17. VIZ Media licensed the manga in 2006 and published the 29th volume in English on February 14. Sentai Filmworks licensed all four anime seasons and the film for North American distribution and released them in Blu-ray and DVD between April and December of 2015.

Finally it's about time. I thought this was going to go somewhere after all that stuff around chapter 200 or so, but nope. It just dragged on and on for far too long. I'll give credit to some scenes which I thought were pretty funny, but it largely got too repetitive for its own good.

Wow! About time Hayate no Gotoku ends. Been following it for 5-6 years now and no matter how it ends or who Hayate will choose, i think i will be satisfied with the ending :3

JESUS....FINALLY!!!

I put this on hold like two years ago cuz I just got soooooo tired of the neverending nonsense.

It's one thing to be a long running battle shounen....but a long running harem comedy when you have almost no ecchi and it's the same goddamn thing over and OVER and OVER?!

No thank you!

I really liked some of the characters in this series, but this was severely milked!

Finally! It's been so long....I wonder who is he going to choose.. although I am hoping for him not to choose anyone. I wanted him to get end up with Maria but I've lost all of my hope lol.

6 chapters WTF!!!! How the hell the is he going to cover it all in six chapters. Everything that I wanted since was start of the series became true in the last update. Nagi finally gets to know that this whole premise was a big misunderstanding. Taking every chapter has 15-17 pages, you are telling me that everything is gonna get settled in less than a 100 pages!!! Now this made me more curious as to what the ending will be.

Ah I wanted to read it but then someone said that it gets nowhere in manga so I decided to put it on hold for now.
My decision will depend on how ending goes. I don't want an unresolved ending. At least want to see a conclusion on romance aspect. I Used to ship Hayate with Athena and Hinagiku. So I'd be pretty much happy if he chooses one of those two. Just don't want him to stuck with the brat Nagi forever (Even tho that's the most possible outcome of the ending).

Time to finish it then, got caught with the release around 2014.
It is finally ending, for the better and for the worst, I would like to see Hinagiku getting some love, but I wont expect much from an ending for a manga that has been running for around 13 years.

I've read 20+ volumes of Hayate no Gotoku and I've never gotten tired of the gags and jokes. I'm saddened by this news article but long running mangas like this have to end. Hayate x Maria. Looking forward to more pieces of work being produced by Kenjiro Hata (?)!
