Visual Novel 'Fate/stay Night' to get New Anime Adaptation

Today in the special premiere night event for the "Kara no Kyoukai: Fukan Fuukei 3D" movie (theater release July 12th), it was announced that ufotable will make a new anime based on the visual novel "Fate/stay Night" which depicts the Fifth Holy Grail War. Previously, the visual novel was adapted into the TV anime series "Fate/stay night" in 2006 and movie "Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works" in 2010, both animated by Studio Deen. A PV was also run during the event and will be shown along with the "Kara no Kyoukai: Fukan Fuukei 3D" movie in theaters. The news was also confirmed by a tweet of Kondo Hikaru, CEO of ufotable.

THey already said that it will be a remake.

Only question is if it will be a remake of both UBW and FAte with the possibility of HF also being animated or just Fate and/or UBW.

Kinda difficult to do it back to back.

If they decide to redo only fate and UBW I'll still be happy. in fact, as long as they can do one of the routes with the quality they've been shown to be capable of, I'd be quite overjoyed.

But the only one that's never gotten ANY form of adaption is HF. So imo, it deserves an adaptation more than the other two simply because it's been left out of the loop for so long.

If all 3 are gonna be animated, I'm hoping they get released back to back 19-25 episodes each. But If they really are only doing 1 story, I'm hoping for HF with 2 OVAs for the prologue and sparks liner.

On another note, Sakura seriously needs more love & respect.

Comparing a soon-to-be superior adaptation to an average adaptation? Impossibru! I'll pretend that Deen's version didn't exist... not saying that everyone else should do the same, but I just couldn't get into this as much as Fate/Zero.

This.They dont need to show any sex scenes.But there is also no reason to waste both budget and time on random replacement scenes.They can ALWAYS imply those scenes.

In UBW's case, I understand the reason for them to go with the true ending, since well.... it's the true ending. But if they're gonna use the true endings for every single scenario, they should use Realta Nua's true ending also IMO, since it's been labeled as the true ending for Fate's Route (Guess I want dat Key Magic to apply here, screw logics xD)

Welp, I guess I just don't want anyone to die and me having to use a whole box of tissue to wipe my tears. :P

Well, I think it's very unlikely they'll animate the Réalta Nua ending and UBW good ending. Even though I liked the Réalta Nua ending, it's probably for the best if they stick with the original true endings, as it'll be most consistent. And I'm a bigger Saber fanboy than anyone.

Easy there. Didn't think my sense of humor wouldn't be taken this deep. I doubt Ufotable would pull this move on us... 'cause even I would get pissed if they do that. But we do not know anything yet. (and yes, I do hate it when some of the best things would be presented as exclusives on any type of format that's not on every format.)
Anyway, yes I do agree that a Fate Route and a True ending under Ufotable would be better than Deen's Fate end (since Deen's ending was made a year before the Realta Nua Version of the Visual Novel.)
