New .Hack anime images

The website Goo now has some new nifty screenshots from the upcoming .hack//G.U. TRILOGY. Plus you can check out the website here. This is a full CG OVA.

The scheduled released in Japan is January 25th.

wow i didn't know about this,this is just great,i was so fustrated with the end of .hack//roots because i couldn't play the video games.

Trilogy looks awesome, though judging from the trailer it looks like it will differ in some ways from the games. Of course they will have to leave out some stuff to fit into an 80-minute movie (which seems to me rather short, but oh well). The CGI looks great, especially the last screenshot of Mac Anu. I'm curious to know what the image above it is though...

hmmm and i remember someone wanted to make a mmorpg to the world duno what happen
but the screenshots look nice looks more like a game imo^^

This is indeed interesting~
I really liked that last scene on the site; the one showing Mac Anu? shopping district where you can see Atoli & Haseo on the right corner. That picture is so much colorful with all those flowers + merchandise - compared to the kinda dull atmosphere the actual game make it out to be like...

Yeah, it still counts as anime because its still animated. You can find the Final Fantasy Movies here, so MAL counts all animation from Japan as anime.

a CGI anime? if a show is 100% CGI does it count as anime o.o|
Oh well i sorta half-gussed theired be a .hack thing that had like roots, GU and some new stuff mixed in to make some sort of masterpiece 4 hour movie, although id though it be like Full Metal Alchemist or Gundam, not .hack :P

Looks like it's going to be a compilation of the game story using the CG movies from the games; I recognize at least two images from the movies. Interesting stuff, I'll definitely watch it.
