@asandari
Most of the numbers are the total sales for three or four weeks after the release. Basically, sales of anime DVD reach the plateau in four weeks. I don't care about the precise timeframe. They were released somewhere in 2005 or 2006. You can roughly compare the three week sales of CG R2 36,036 with these numbers.

Bleach the Movie 2: The Diamond Dust Rebellion, D.Gray Man, My Neighbor Totoro, One Piece, Gin Tama, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, and Naruto Shippuuden FTW :D!.

I'm surprised. I heard the ratings of CG were lower than Gundam 00. And I didn't think Tohsokan Sensou would be that (relatively) popular...

I wonder how these sales compare to 3 years ago...

Tohsokan Sensou ftw! ^^

lol bleach ddr takes top 2 XP
kinda surprised at toshokan sensou ranking 3rd, cg being pretty down and naruto shippuden fillers actually even being on the list 0.0

Bleach movie was pretty good. And they have limited edition too?!?!

OMG, you're right! I can't believe it! Let's punish them! >__<

Haha. DDR movie being first and second is not surprising, after all it is a Hitsugaya movie. XD Plus Pierrot are good at marketing stuff. XD

Other than that, yay for One Piece, and omg...GINTAMA! :D

Well, not surprised about the Bleach movie (although I didn't really like it all that much).

Hmm...glad to see some One Piece love again (Enies Lobby Arc was another epic arc in OP). And definitely nice to see D.Gray Man doing well in the sales, although the anime is supposedly stopping.

Poor CG, doing so badly. No real surprise, though. >.>

The sales of the CG first season vol.1 was 49,188 at the third week. The number of the sales of Blu-ray was not announced to public, so it's unknown if the BD sales compensate for the decrease by 13,152. CG R2 BD has been at the top in the BD sales ranking.

Aug 18 - 24
1. Code Geass R2 vol.1
2. Code Geass vol.1
3. Gundam 00 vol.1
4. Gundam 00 vol.2
5. Macross Zero BD BOX
6. Macross F vol.1
7. Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO vol.1
8. Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO vol.2
9. Innocence Absolute Edition
10. Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO vol.3

Sep 25 - Aug 1
1. Code Geass R2 vol.1
2. Gundam 00 vol.1
3. Code Geass vol.1
4. Gundam 00 vol.2
5. Macross F vol.1
6. Macross Zero BD BOX
7. Innocence Absolute Edition
8. Gundam MS IGLOO vol.2
9. Gundam MS IGLOO vol.1
10. Gundam MS IGLOO vol.3

I think 10,000-12,000 is not that unrealistic estimation of the CG R2 BD sales.
