VIZ Media publishes "Brave Story" novel.
As VIZ says in their news story, an "Intriguing Fantasy Story About Adventure, Growing Up, Friendship, And Family Bonds Will Captivate A Wide Range Of Readers". After the Brave Story novel, written by author Miyuki Miyabe, was released in Japan, an anime movie was produced by GONZO Digimations in 2006 and was afterwards adopted into a Playstation 2 game version and a Nintendo DS version. According to Gamespot a PSP game called Brave Story: New Traveler was released on the 31:st of July earlier this year.
The story follows 10-year old Wataru who doesn't seem to have any luck in his life. To escape it all he finds an abandoned building that is an entrance to an alternate world called Vision. To survive this new world Wataru must learn alot of skills, find hidden items and defeat enemies to unlock the future.
