There is a 720p RAW version on YouTube and you can turn subtitles on though the English is broken and sucks...I hope it gets subbed soon...

Is cheesy comedy what people only care about nowadays, they would rather choose to make Brothers Conflict into a TV series than Hanayaka nari, Waga Ichizoku!
I was so excited when I first heard there there would be an anime adaptation of it, but it turned out to be just two OVAs T_____T.
Still I will watch it, since it is such a good story.

Looks like it gonna be released on BD/DVD only (the 1st one will be on sale December 21 2012 and the 2nd one is scheduled for March 14 2013), so getting an English subbed version is going to be really low and maybe even the raw version itself will be really hard to find. :(

VitaminX Addiction was also only released BD/DVD only last year and I can only find the raw on a Chinese forum and no group seems interested doing an English subbed version of it. -_-

Edit: Looks like this series is finally getting an English sub version..

I'm actually looking forward to watching this :D
The plot, IMO, isn't all that bad (but of course, I'll watch anything that's a reverse harem ^.^)

What bothers me is that this is only going to be an OVA with only two episodes - hopefully the plot/story isn't going to get messed up with such a short amount of time to air it. :/

I think Light Novel and Game are different.

I'm not new to anime. Quite the opposite plus I have watched harem animes(and have been disgusted by many of em) but I never felt that Steins Gate and Persona 4 were male orientated. I felt both genders could watch them.

That's the reason why Steins Gate and Persona and Idol Master are so popular. I'm a girl who solely watches reverse harems and like jmal said Tsukhime was from 2003. fate Stay Night from what I feel is also for both genders. I follow sales too and the only recent one strictly aimed at males I saw was Maji Watashi and it didn't sell that great. Barely over Starry Sky.

And Uta Pri fangirls bought it for the idols? The same thing applies to the guys who buy stuff for the boob jiggles.

It doesn't matter that there are only a handful of adaptations, it matters how they sold. And lets not forget the Hakuouki OVAs. they were just OVAs yet sold great.

Overall, for Steins, Persona and yes, Little Busters, I feel the way in the games is just like a male visual novel but when ADAPTED into an anime I really didn't feel that they were only for males.

In fact, forgive me for saying this, Clannad was one of my first animes and I thought it was a shoujo. Even now I can't compare it to say Maji Koi.

QUOTE:
"Key is coming with Little busters, Satelight is coming with Muv-Luv, Aniplex is coming with Koi to senkyo to Chocolate, and there's OtoBoku, Shining hearts (RPG/VN)."

That is, if they are adapted well. I'm watching Muv Luv for only one reason when it comes out: Daisuke Ono. And regarding Little busters, there was and still is quite an uproar that JC Staff is animating it. I hope they do it justice.

As for the others, it all depends on how well they sell.

Personally, I feel that the grey adaptations sell better than the black or white when it comes to visual novels.

EDIT: Sengoku paradise were shorts weren't they? I can't find them on Amazon either. I think the shorts were just to promote the merchandise.

Visual novel aimed at guys don't sell anymore?
Do you know how many Visual novels/Eroge's are getting released per month? More than 20, and they're making money like there is no tomorrow, go to getchu and see for yourself, not to mention there is very few otome games compared to male visual novels (excluding eroges) and they certainly sell much less than male-oriented ones.

Visual novel adaptations

We were talking anime.

FUCK! sorry man, i didn't notice the word "adaption", i'm REALLY REALLY REALLY SORRY, i feel like a total idiot right now.
EDIT: i disagree with you though, Clannad, Fate/stay night, Steins;gate, Kanon (2006), tsukihime sold very good.

that's why jmal said IN THE OLD DAYS. Clannad is a classic. And wait...Steins Gate is a visual novel aimed at guys? O_O Never felt that way to me lol. Haha. You learn something new everyday. Kanon and Clannad and Air are what's left of the golden age.

Though Key is now coming with Little Busters.

To be honest, Key's Visual Novels were the only ones I really...well, enjoyed as much as a reverse harem adaptation.

so can someone confirm whether this is getting an adaptation or not? cuz they said they removed the label showing the announcement afterwards....so can anyone confirm?

They've even announced the anime adaptation at "JAPAN 乙女♥Festival 2" recently. Whether this gets animated for real or not we have to wait for more information.

Not bad. The synopsis isn't overly interesting, but the guys look cute, and I'm feeling optimistic today, so why not?

Am i seeing hot bishies/hunks?! XD

Just as long as the plot is good, and the leading girl character is not annoying/whiny/helplessly helpless/a damsel in distress.

Funny how most here bash IDEA factory, without knowing shit. The GAME is by them, NOT the anime or anything. If you want to compare it with something, then take Hakuoki. (But WAIT, that one was a success! Oh no, is that, maybe, the reason, why another IF otome game gets animated? Couldn't be!)

Ah, I see. Thank you. In other words, eroges for women?

No. If you compare eroge to otoge... that's almost like comparing hentai to romance. (And why can't you just look up the term on Wikipedia?) While I certainly haven't played all otome games out there (xD), I haven't seen any which focus on such, uh, content ö.ö It's more about romantic feelings; in that sense, otome games are very similar to shoujo manga.
