I can honestly say, as a huge Natsume Yuujinchou fan I'm impressed by what they did, if I ever go to Japan, I'll have to go and see that.

Ooh, I'd want to visit the forests and the temple in the Eight Fields. Assuming they exist, too.

Man! This makes it just like Higurashi and to some extent, Madoka Magica which makes it look a bit like "REAL PLACE".

Seems like the industry is doing what they can to help and bring back the tourists so the economy will be afloat. It’s not the first time; we’ve already seen the exactly same scenario for AnoHana’s and Hanasaku Iroha’s model places, to only name two.

Even so, I think it’s a great way to lend a hand to those areas that were affected one way or another by the earthquake. I just can say that I’d love to go there one day; I love Natsume Yuujinchou, and knowing where the real “setting” of the series makes me want to visit it.

Wow, I didn't realize the show's setting was based on a real location. Pretty cool.

Flipping between the anime and RL pictures is fun. They did something similar with AnoHana didn't they?

Tourism is always good for an area, but I just have to say...

I've seen better recreations of locations in anime, and even if those are low quality pictures, the art doesn't look that good. It might not be in my place to say that since I haven't seen the anime and its relations myself, though. Ah well, slip of the mouth.

Other than that, cool stuff? We've been seeing quite a lot of this anime - tourism deals since the earthquakes, and I support it. Its a fine way to raise business in those regions.
