FUNimation Acquires Kuragehime

According to their official blog, FUNimation has acquired the U.S. home entertainment, broadcast, digital, and merchandise rights for the TV anime series Kuragehime, which it simulcasted this past fall. FUNimation will release the 11 episode series on DVD and Blu-ray in 2012.

Last February, FUNimation asked users on their Facebook page what they thought of the series and whether they would purchase the series on DVD or Blu-ray.

FUNimation has put up a short survey related to Kuragehime merchandise here. They are interested in knowing what gifts with purchase fans would like to be included with the Kuragehime DVD/Blu-ray release and what others items fans would like to purchase.

if the dubs good ill defiantly watch this, ill watch it eventually but its not on my to watch list right now, but im always more motivated to watch a good dub when i get the chance

I'm really curious to see who they get for dub voices. It's a really cute show, allow me to jump on the 'hoping for a season 2' bandwagon.

Hmmm. Since I have mad love for this show, this kinda scares me. This is one thing that I don't want to see ruined.

But maybe this will encourage a second season. Who knows.
