The manga kinda looks like a semi polished storyboard with computer generated backgrounds. There were some moments when a few of the characters got a bit off model expression wise. That being said I liked the character designs and the quality was alright.

In regards to the film, I feel like it improved on what essentially made the manga average. It was a pretty faithful adaptation, minus a few scene adjustments here and there.

The story was so good that I'm a little bit disappointed that it never got a full blown manga.
