It's too similar to the anime and i can't really say that this is better than it either.

I did quite enjoy this it's just that the amount of perverts was a through the roof

I prefer the anime, but that doesn't mean the manga is bad, quite the opposite it has good art, but the characters lack most of the personality that's present in the anime and aside from the start the story is pretty random.

The manga provides different viewpoint to the story of school days, but i find this story boring and lackluster and i didn't like the characters. With all that said i would rather read the school days manga instead.

I prefer the anime in all aspects outside of the ending which the manga does way better.

Why do people keep saying that this is a rare case where the anime is better, that should be used for anime adapted from manga but FLCL is an anime original and manga based on anime originals are hardly as good as the material they are based on, case and point cowboy bebop, samurai champloo and gurrenn lagann.

I like this, but I think I'm going to enjoy reading the novel it's based on even more. I'm around 50 pages in so far and I definitely prefer it. In terms of manga the art isn't spectacular and the pages are often very wordy which is why I'm enjoying the novel more since that's what I'm there for.
