... In addition to helping the main heroine, Komi-san wants to have 100 friends.
At first it does not apresent an innovative proposal, several mangas have this, but what catches me most in this is that both main characters are very cute together, and komi-san trying to explain the situation that involves her and her feelings surfacing while she makes friends along with tadano-kun are very good. We have very heartwarming moments like splitting an umbrella, expressing feelings on a blackboard, or even making a simple call to each other. It is a light romance and a funny comedy

It's a good art, well designed characters, a normal background scenery, does not stand out much but the komi-san with big eyes in various scenes are pretty cute, and as a 4-koma manga its a very good one

Here it weighs a lot the score, besides the main characters that are very good, 10/10 i would say, the supporting are 06/10. Every character(and MC too) has simple features, one-dimensional characters, but the secondary ones are pretty bad, like a crazy yandere that licks the hair of the komi that is on the floor, or characters that want to pick up the piece of ground where komi-san has fallen. Well it's funny, but even so the manga's romance is much better than those comedy moments. After chapter 40 appers some good characters, but sttill is a weak point of this manga

I really like it a lot because I can identify with komi-san, and the situations she tries to get through are a lot of fun.

Story: 10/10 - There is no story, and there doesn't always need to be some epic tale of adventure to make a media enjoyable; and that's what Komi-san is. Pure, unadulterated enjoyment.

The tl;dr is the main heroine, Komi-san - is a beautiful, intelligent girl with crippling social anxiety. With the help of our main character Tadano, Komi-san hopes to make 100 friends. This premise serves as a segue to meet a string of colorful supporting characters, and allow them to interact in fun everyday events, that are totally new and unique to previously friendless Komi.

Art: 9/10 - Good, clean art with fun caricatures. Komi is, ... for all intents and purposes - a mute. As such most of her 'dialog' comes from her physical reactions to events, something the author does a fantastic job showing.

Enjoyment: 10/10 - In 10+ years of reading manga and watching anime I don't think a series as short as Komi-san has ever made me laugh, or go aww, as many times as this one has. I've recommended it to multiple friends and never gotten a negative response from those who gave it a read.

Komi-san is funny, sweet, heartwarming, and shallow - and sometimes, that's exactly what you want.

Overall: 10/10 - Is Komi-san the perfect romance? No. Is it the perfect slice of life? No. Is Komi-san the perfect comedy? Maybe.

Komi-san is a series that I come back to every few months and reread it from scratch. The short chapter lengths allow me to finish the series on a lazy Saturday, and I'm always left with a big smile and a full heart.

I cannot recommend this Manga enough.

Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu has a simple premise, MC Komi is adored by everyone in her class and people in general, however, she has a major communication problem. She can't talk to people at all, gets nervous easily about the simplest interactions and nobody notices this, until Tadano noticed it, and became her first friend. After that, we meet some new people and usually each chapter has some short story to tell that are really interesting and funny.

Story 10/10
The premise I wrote above, it is really interesting to see how Komi handles everything, from interactions with her family, classmates or people in general to her ... slowly opening herself and expressing her desires. Chapters are usually short stories with romance and comedy bits and it works really well, and romance is well spread so it doesn't get boring or annoying while comedy is well done and funny. I feel the manga is progressing in a well paced manner, from the character developing aspect to romance aspect.

Art 8/10
Art when it needs makes character look cute, and often we get full body shots from head to toe how characters are dressed that look awesome. In general art is nothing that you haven't seen before, it works for this manga and for its setting.

Character 9/10
Concerning main characters, Komi is really fun and different character from any manga. Shy and withdrawn because of her communication disorder, but as she slowly opens up to Tadano and rest of the people she gets more and more layers. Her counterpart is Tadano, he can read people really well, wanted to have a normal life without to much drama at the beginning but changed his mind after meeting Komi. They work really well together.
Side characters at the beginning were a little bit weak. We got Najimi that was hit and miss, a girl that calls herself Komi's dog and Yamai who I really, really don't like, she is something of a yandere to Komi. However, I do think that they got much better over time. First, Najimi got more spotlight, running gag about her is really funny and her interactions with Tadano, classmates or professors are really well done and funny, she developed into my favorite character. They also introduced Nakanaka, Big sister, the slow speaking girl and a thug, all four characters are really interesting and fun to read. Only reason why I don't think characters are 10/10 is Yamai, who I find really annoying and people that all worship komi. It was funny at the beginning and it can be funny even now, but usually it is a bit predictable and boring.

I am really enjoying this manga. It is well paced, funny and has a lot of cute moments. It is a type of manga that you can't stop reading when you start, and you will be smiling all the way through, either because it is really funny or because something really cute happened.

Obviously, manga isn't finished yet so I don't want to give it a 10 right now. I hope that manga keeps progressing the way it has and developing new stories on the way. It is one of my favorite manga that is being published right now and if it continues this way it is going to be a fantastic series. If you like romance or comedy, you will probably like this manga.

Better than reading newspaper comics, but worse than over extended garfield comics

Komi manages to draw great comic strip pacing, at the expense of just dragging you along 80-90% filler before the joke occurs

Believable: not really, Komi is deemed "super god like" status among everyone, but somehow her shyness apparently managed to make her have zero friends except the starting pointing Todano, a pretty decent MC secondary.

This is very unlikely, Komi is a great shy person, and warm vibes, she wouldn't have trouble being approachable, even with her weakness "can't communicate"

So I ... read volumes 1 and 2, and the additional characters are not that good. There pretty simplified, and used as staples when they are needed, doing the punchlines

If you have watched/read Saiki K, it's like Komi tries to have various tropes too, but just somehow manages to bland out everything.

Don't usually make reviews and I don't mean to be pessimistic by any means but I just really feel like this series is literally the most overhyped series of all time.

Genuinely cannot stand how brain numbingly repetitive this series is and how absolutely dogshit the characters are. None of the characters are interesting and especially not komi san. Komi san saying nothing at all is just a boring and easy way to make the moments she does speak seem special, and while you might say that's the point, the story COMPLETELY leans on it and lacks any other actually interesting plot devices.

Talking about plot, this ... series is the most formulaic series I've ever fucking read. Every single chapter they meet someone who has some sort of gag/problem, and komi and the green haired dude solve it in an incredibly similar frictionless way every single chapter. It's incredibly predictable and boring.

When it comes to characters the green haired dude is incredibly boring, and people will surely defend this by saying that he's "supposed to be boring" because he's an 'average joe' type character. I've seen more than plenty of these average joe characters but he takes the cake for being such a ridiculously boring character. As far as how he solves problems with his positivity and kindness and talking through everything in a genuine manner, I usually enjoy these types of characters regardless of how realistic or corny or cheesy their save-the-day speeches are but I still think even that part of this series is garbage. He's so fucking boring he literally gives me that same gut feeling of when you initially meet someone and think they're initially interesting but they're actually incredibly boring people who provide nothing to the conversation.

The art is fucking awful. it is unique but it's stupid and the artist has no consistency when it comes to drawing characters, his framing is bland and there is 0 depth or variance and everything just looks the same.

That's all from me regarding the most overhyped manga in existence. If you think I'm being harsh when I'm breaking it down by tropes because all anime has tropes and whatever, that is completely irrelevant. I'm breaking it down by tropes because the author fails to be creative in any meaningful way and completely relies on them.

I tried. I tried really hard to like this manga. I couldn't enjoy it, even though I related to komi as I was younger. It is so.. mediocre. I feel like Im the only one who doesnt even root for this relationship. I understand Komi has social anxiety (and I did as well, ngl) but there is no other trope this girl has except being "wholesome" and "quiet". This manga deliberately stands on only one trope. Komi being quiet. It started off well, but as it got more involved, it was just a bunch of characters who aren't even introduced because the author runs out ... of ideas. You even start rooting for the other girl (the gal) and tadano, as she has so much personality.

You can make tomi have a better personality even if she has anxiety. You can make her have flaws. But the author just makes her seem like this perfect person who's just "sooo scared >_<" and makes her look cute bc of her anxiety. It isn't. Komi depends heavily on Tadano, and it's what irritates me. It's never really about what she's thinking deep down or how it actually is with anxiety (except a few chapters) but always about what Tadano thinks. To me, it just seems like the author just makes her cute. No matter what she does. I dont know why so many people like this manga, unless they want a "cute quirky socially anxious quiet" gf like Komi. It's just overused gags with random characters and no development whatsoever. Komi is cute, I admit, but seriously, I start rooting for the gal because she feels realistic. Even if Komi looks better, I care much more about personality.

Well this manga was quite popular for a while but hype around it toned down a lot didn't it.
Komi san have massive social anxiety is a manga about a really beautiful girl having hard time communicating with other people. But her school thinks she's just a cool beauty who's 2 cool 4 talking to peasants or something, but one day main guy tadano realizes she's just a shy girl who wants to make friends so he decides to help her out.

Story : it had potential to be something really fun but manga is full of meaningless fuller and barely any progress at all ... and the only progress caused by a shitty love triangle. Most of the time you beg for some meaningful development. Side characters gets bare minimum screen time which is a shame because this manga has a great cast of characters

Characters: they're pretty hit or miss sometimes they're OK sometime they're just one note mobs and sometimes they're actually potentially great characters, the everyone's childhood friend Najimi goes from a mysterious friend who is slightly teasing mc to obnoxious cockroach who fucks up everything, sometimes badly received characters like Yamai can get some development like she got in school festival arc, overall characters are colorful and fun but author almost never develops them

Art : strongest point of the manga ,it's beautiful. Most of the characters have different face shapes and eyes to create more diverse looking characters which keeps things fresh. Art is consistent most of the time and back ground have a lot of effort poured into them.

I have really mixed feelings about this manga to be honest, sometimes I really enjoy it and sometimes it's such a bore to read it

I feel like coming from someone who went through the same thing Komi did in Middle school and High School, this Manga should have been an easy 9/10. It starts off really good, telling lots of mini-stories build into a larger overall arc as it’s main storytelling theme. Through this we get to see the main characters, Tadano and Komi, get put into all sorts of typical (as well as atypical) Japanese School-life situations. The first portion of this manga (The Class 1-1 arc) is actually really good, the only flaw really being that lots of characters could be way more fleshed out, which isn’t ... really a huge problem considering the story is mostly about Tadano and Komi. If I were to write this review just after finishing the first part, it would be a solid 8/10. Now enter second part of the manga. At first, this part starts off really strong, with Komi doing the same thing for Manbagi that Tadano did for her. But as the story progressed, the original theme went away. Soon, Komi’s goal of making 100 friends went away and was now replaced by a love triangle trope (and an incredibly bad one at that) between the three main characters. Because of this, many of the new characters became hollow as the focus drifted away from making and interacting with friends (Though some characters to come out of this arc we’re still really cool). old characters from the first arc went away only to come back every 30 chapters or so. Considering this is a manga that tells its story with mini-stories, the overall story was crippled when the smaller stories suddenly were filled with less interesting characters and settings that had already been used in the first arc. Tadano and Komi did however carry this arc. Every story with the two was usually enjoyable and heartwarming. Seeing the two very awkward characters come together romantically after all that they had been through together was rewarding after hundreds of chapters, but was sadly complicated by this unrealistic and unnecessary love triangle. I’m not going to blame everything the love triangle, I think if the goal was 30-50 friends, all of the characters throughout the manga would have had more time to be fleshed out and given more chances to appear throughout the story. I also think that lots of the mini stories were a little dull at some points. More of the chapters could have been more absurd, considering that the story revolves around a girl who has to use a notepad to talk. The more absurd the story, the funnier and more interesting it was. The first arc did this pretty well but as characters became less interesting, the absurd comedy sort of went away. I would give the second arc a 3/10 honestly, with Komi and Tadano being the only reason this arc getting anything over a 1. So far, the manga isn’t completed and there could possibly be a third arc for their third year, so I’m hoping that this final arc could hopefully change about how I feel (I have high hopes considering that the love triangle is now gone as of now). I really want to give this manga a 7 or an 8, I love lots of these characters, I relate to the premise, and I have yet to drop considering the nose dive in quality. Until then, we’ll just have to see where the story goes.

What makes this manga most enjoyable is undoubtedly the protagonist Komi-san, accompanying her trying to overcome all the small obstacles of a simple action that is talking to someone is quite interesting. Be it trying to communicate with someone or just doing something from day to day, it always generates great comedy scenes or just cute and affable scenes that will always leave a silly smile on the reader's face.

During the course of the work innumerable characters are introduced and all are extremely charismatic with very characteristic personalities, and this is one of the main factors that hold the attention of those who read this manga. It is clear that the author treats all the characters in the work with great affection, as he always tries to take advantage of them, even though there are many characters, their appearance is commonplace.

The "Enjoyment" factor is extremely big in this manga, because the story is based a lot on comedy and on many things school comedy clichés, so the comedy, the characters and their magnificent interactions that make them like that. The plot is rather slow, but the short and extremely affable, funny and dynamic chapters make you read several and several chapters quickly and without tiring. Now, the rest of the serialization is pointless garbage filler, the equivalent of watching paint drying for 10 hours, the entire serialization is doomed since the premise (Make 100 friends), its an excuse to continue the manga to the infinite and sell merchandising.. Go and read bocchi

The artstyle degenerates into a simplified and bland version as the volumes go by

why would you care about the protagonist and her problems if she is truly perfect in everything she does, she is never wrong, everyone loves her, ... she is a GODDESS, what is the problem then? Why does this have to matter to you? because its cute? The character of komi is emptier than a bag of potato chips and an insult to anyone who suffers from this type of illness. Komi san only romanticizes in a bad way a mental problem, Go and read Asper Kanojo

The dynamic of Komi san is to introduce a character, do something with him/her and then forget about it after the friendship with Komi is formed, the plot is non-existent and even this doesnt count as a good Slice of life


Worst romcom in the last decade, yeah, its worse than fucking nisekoi and other utter shitty romcoms.. Read bocchi or asper kanojo

I watched the first season anime adaptation and was really interested in the story but didn't want to wait for a year for the second season, so I decided to read the manga. Flew threw the main story (I would say ~300 chapters) in one sitting. I was hooked.

It's probably been a little over a year since I began reading, and the chapters that are being released now are just complete trash. There are too many characters to keep track of, so I don't keep track of them and just read on, even if I don't understand a particular gag. There's no more plot. It's ... just a bunch of side stories that have no purpose. I wish Oda Tomohito could have ended the series when it needed to be ended, not just endlessly and pointlessly continue it.

I would definitely recommend it up to a certain point, but stop when the core story has concluded.

This is a review of Komi Can’t Communicate. To facilitate writing this review, I will compare it to the anime and manga Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu, so there will be spoilers for both, though I will try to minimise it.

Story: Now, both Komi’s premise is about the main character, Komi, being unable to communicate, and wanting to make 100 friends with the help of Tadano. This is true for the first 130 chapters, where Komi makes good progress with making friends. But after chapter 130, it devolves into a romcom love triangle manga with Tadano and Komi, absolutely forgetting its original premise. Mainly ... in Chapter 284, it’s shown she’s only made 39 friends. Comparing that to Hitoribocchi, whose premise is the socially anxious Bocchi making friends with her whole class, Bocchi actually completes her goal, in 97 chapters.
Komi’s story flow is not to my taste, with me being confused at how some characters just appeared, with no memory of their introductions, while Hitoribocchi’s character introductions are more significant and impactful. Komi is too prone to jumping to chapters just focusing on an insignificant side character, while Hitoribocchi focuses on what’s important.
Komi is mainly a gag manga as well. Now, what makes me laugh might be random, but even Komi runs into the issue of aggressively reusing jokes, mainly the cultural festival and the introduction of Komi-kun. Meanwhile, Hitoribocchi doesn’t reuse gags, and even the running gags, like Aru’s headbutts, are rewritten each time, so they are actually original.
Lastly, there’s the interaction between friends. Komi and Tadano interact very awkwardly despite being friends, while Bocchi interacts with her friends more naturally as she gets closer with them.

Characters: Komi’s characters are severely lacking in character development. Despite 300+ chapters, none of the MCs go through significant character development. Tadano effectively loses his ability to mind-read, and Komi’s communication skills don’t improve. Most of the side characters are only invented for 1 chapter gags, and as such, receive no character development. Even on the rare occasion that a character receives a little character development, it’s instantly thrown away. Conversely, Hitoribocchi’s main 5 receive good character development, all having changed in different ways at the end of manga.

Art: Mostly the art does gradually improve, but the art is mostly decent, not especially standing out.

Enjoyment: Overall it’s at the stage where it’s simply brings me no joy when a new chapter comes out, but I’m reading it in the hopes it goes back to what it was. I would say 5.5/10, just read Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu instead. Alternatively, Hakoiri Drops also partially fulfills the romance aspect without deviating too far from the goal.

In anticipation of the recently announced anime adaptation of Komi San, I decided to give this manga a shot. And oh boy did it disappoint me. I have no qualms with comedy manga or anime but it's far from my favorite genre. Many people love Gintama because of its satirical and comedic nature. One of my favorite comedic anime; Noragami is the king at being funny but ramping up the story, action, stakes, and emotions when necessary. Going into a manga where it's a slice of life school antics my expectations are extremely low. I was hoping this was going to ... be like Koe No Katachi (A Silent Voice) with a more light-hearted tone but I suppose I was hoping for too much. Instead what I was treated to was a manga that felt like low-quality newspaper drivel, the type of Garfield comics your grandfather read as he was bored in his house waiting for his wife to finish the breakfast. While almost all mainstream Shonen manga are serialized in weekly comics, most popular Shonen manga do not feel like newspaper comics made with low effort and substandard quality just for the author to meet his/her publisher’s deadline.

The humor in Komi Can’t Communicate is the thing that killed it for me. The jokes are cliché, rubbish, and have no redeeming qualities. Honestly, I can’t remember a single one apart from awful jokes about Komi’s lack of communication ability. The art is all right it won’t kill you to look at but it’s very average not because the illustrations are bad but because the character designs look pretty poor. Alluding to my reference to Koe No Katachi I want to rant about the main premise of the manga. Which is about a girl that can’t communicate but not because she has a disability. No, a disability would mean the manga writer would have to rack his brains to create a dramatic sad story. Instead, we have it played off as a stupid joke and plot MacGuffin. Somehow the greatest offense this manga makes is making everyone and their father cream every time they see Komi. She’s great at everything; a Mary Sue meanwhile the Male MC is an average guy with an average name. These things are the only two things that define each character because writing proper backstories and character personalities would require actual effort. There’s one girl obsessed with Komi in a friendship type of way and another gender-fluid character that has nothing to offer except being popular and annoying. Non-stop trope after trope cliché after cliché used again and again in the same manga it was beyond annoying and all that just in one volume… just one… How people give this manga a 10 or an 8 is beyond me. Maybe they have no idea what comedy and humor are. Enjoyment? Let’s not talk about that.

3/10 and that’s me being generous, tired of glorified newspaper comics getting attention as if it’s somehow the next big school comedy or SOL.

Komi, a beautiful, very popular lady, the school goddess. "So beautiful". "So mysterious." Well, at least that was her fame for school, but in her mind it was just the opposite.
Another point, she can not speak. It may seem simple to most people, but to her it is torture. Lucky she knows the amateur psychologist, Tadano-Kun. Expect from that a cute novel with a lot of comedy or not.
The work obviously focuses on the ... difficulty that people with social disorders face in their interpersonal life. But it is treated so subtly and delicately that it does not seem such a serious problem. The author was able to show perfectly how uncomfortable and challenging it is to make friendships like that.
The character development is increasing, every character develops and becomes a better person with the passing of the arcs. Not to mention that the author is very creative in everything he does. Everything is very funny or cleverly adorable. My goal is to read everything he does.

I do not know if anyone who is unfamiliar with such disorders will understand everything that this work wants to go through.
Komi has social anxiety and communicative disorder, that is, immense fear of socializing or exaggerated perfectionism in this. That ends up causing her to not be able to talk, no, no, she's not retarded as some people talk about. You who are if you think so.

This series is a little hard do discribe but the community has memes the hell out of it. Or look at a different review idk. Just read it. It is worth your time.

The story is pretty basic, yet charming.

The main romance between Komi and Tadano is a super slow burn but it's pretty cute. However it seems to have been stagnating since the very first chapter.

The side characters are all anime/manga tropes and some are really, really annoying (Yamai!). The "joke" of Komi being a goddess and how other people react to her presence gets old really fast, to the point where I am annoyed and rolling my eyes whenever it happens yet again. I wish the manga would have lost all the annoying side characters and that dumb goddess aspect and mainly focused on ... the main chars and their romance.

Overall the way Komi and Tadano interacted with each other is the reason why I've kept reading and their scenes together are all pretty cute and fun to read.

I picked up this manga because I saw Komi in a few memes online and thought the art style was cool.

I dropped it because the story was going absolutely nowhere.

I like the art style for this manga because it's a nice combination between a "normal" style and a "chibi" style. Plus this mangaka can draw some hilarious expressions.

... Like I said, it takes too long to go anywhere. The story has a good premise, which I talk about more below, but its development is very shallow where the series currently stands.

CHARACTERS: 7/10
I must give the author credit here. They come up with a wide variety of characters that are all pretty much likeable, save for a few. Najimi is probably my favourite because of their ability to absolutely ruin any situation and put Komi under enormous pressure. Also, cute non-binary person. I also have to credit the author for the immensely clever naming of Nakanaka, who is a delusional character (think Rikka from Chuunibyo). Her name is read in Japanese 中中 (naka naka), but that kanji can also be pronounced "chuu". There are two of them, and 'two' is pronounced like "knee", which makes a visual pun out of her name, relating to the term "chuunibyo". Sorry for nerding-out there, that just tickled me when I saw her name.

OVERALL: 6/10
This is not a *bad* manga. I think the authors use of the text boxes with arrows that often explain Komi's internal dialogues are clever and appealing as a reader, and they were one of my favourite things about the series. I thought it was overall quite funny and I rather enjoyed reading it, but I didn't want to continue reading it as the story was not advancing at the rate I would have preferred.

I understand that this manga is extremely in the comedy/slice-of-life genre, but the premise that is set up in the beginning of the series is taking WAY too long to get anywhere.

To give any prospective readers an introduction, here it is: Shouko Komi is a high-schooler that is socially awkward and very shy, so she has a hard time speaking to people. This is not helped by her classmates unanimous decision to practically deify her due to her overwhelming beauty and her cool demeanour (which actually comes from her social anxiety). At the same time, a high-school boy named Hitohito Tadano who is as plain-as-they-come and really doesn't want to stand out in his new high school class. No problem, except that he suddenly and unexpectedly befriends Komi after school one day when she explains her social anxiety to him by writing on the chalkboard. She shares her desire to overcome her anxiety by forcing herself to make 100 friends (which is insane). Tadano then decides that he'll help Komi reach her goal, aw how nice!

The two embark on their adventure to make 100 friends for Komi, with a little help (and sometimes annoyance) Tadano's own friend Najimi. I would say these three are the main cast of the series; the other characters that are added as Komi's friends become more-and-more irrelevant as the series moves on.

So we have this premise. It's a fine premise, and we have a bit of an implied possible-romance between Komi and Tadano.

The series takes off from here at a steady pace; Komi makes several friends by the end of the first volume, a few more in the second, but then the pace slows down significantly. This is due to lots of filler from the mangaka, especially in the school sports festival arc. There is very little character development throughout all these chapters, and Komi still can't even say "ohayou." This is why I dropped it after the 5th volume. I actually didn't even get to the love triangle with Manbagi, and I honestly don't care, because I also know from reddit memes from the current chapters, that nothing comes of it. Komi and Tadano don't get any closer to being a couple, and the romance has taken the backseat.

Whenever I try to find out about how I feel about a story, I think to myself "What is the story trying to achieve?". After reading the synopsis and a few of the chapters you might think that the point of this story is to help Komi-san overcome her social anxiety, but I disagree with this outlook.

The place where the story takes place is a high school, and every person that gets into this high school doesn't necessarily make it there because of their grades, but rather because of a special quirk related to their personality. There isn't a single "normal" person in this school, ... except for Tadano, and he probably got in because him being so incredibly average counted as a quirk in the eyes of the school administration. This leads us to the point, the story tries to expose as many people with personality quirks as possible, through the eyes of Komi-san and Tadano-kun, therefore Komi-san's social anxiety is a vehicle for us to meet these different characters, making the chapters exciting since we never know what we'll get next. That is not to say that her problem gets neglected by the author, she gets plenty of character development, but it's definitely secondary compared to the amount of attention the author put into creating dozens upon dozens of characters with different personalities. Literally no one is the same. Even Komi-san's brother who doesn't say a word throughout the series feels fundamentally different to Komi-san.

Thus, in my opinion the author did a great job creating a never ending cast of fun characters, while sprinkling character development for Komi-san and Tadano-kun, as well as some side characters, here and there. Every chapter feels like a Pandora's box, which I believe to be the intention to begin with, so this is a solid 9/10 for me. This might actually be the only manga I've read so far where I didn't find a single chapter boring. The characters are just that quirky, and even when I don't particularly like someone, Komi-san, Tadano-kun, or Najimi are there to interact with them, making me switch focus form the character to the interaction.

The manga started out quite nice,,with the objective of helping Komi make friends. There's also a growing romance between Tadano and Komi. However, 200+ chapters, not only did it barely made progress, there's now even a love triangle. And tbh, I felt like the original goal of making friends was forgotten. I mean, I doubt you'd even remember some characters.


STORY:
It started out good, then okay, then meh.

ART:
With all the characters introduced so far, they all seem unique in terms of design. Plus, Komi is pretty. I know people who like this manga, and even those who don't, will agree.

CHARACTER:
Too many that I forgot who most ... are. Main cast is nice though.

ENJOYMENT:
I read 200+ chapters and then dropped it. Make of that what you will.

OVERALL:
Worth some time if you have a lot of it, considering the manga has more than 200 chapters. But don't expect your ship to sail any time soon.
