[Very little spoilers about only one of the chapters, but it's not a big deal]

!!!!!!!!!!This is a review of the FIRST VOLUME ONLY. I don't know if this gets better later or not!!!!!!!!!

This was basically fanfiction written by a man who's never written fanfic before and for which i had to PAY TO READ

Some characters were kinda.... ooc??? not entirely, but their characteristics were either watered down or way too exaggerated. You could tell hori didn't write this.

Not to mention that you have the opportunity to write whatever you want with the characters and yet you dedicate A LOT OF PAGES to mineta and kaminari ... hunting down girls. really???? I'd much much much MUCH rather read midoriya fanboying on that hero exposition he went to. or iida and tokoyami having fun in the park. or like, ANY other character doing anything. mineta was extra annoying in this, way more than he ever was in the original works (which is already saying a lot!!!)

So... there were some moments that I liked, but I feel like the writer needs to practice a lot more before this can actually become good.

This is a review for Volumes 1-4

BnHA is one of my favorite manga series and while I enjoyed seeing the domestic lives of Class 1A, I was really disappointed by a lot of the content. A lot of the chapters read like self-service fanfic and many of them just aren't interesting. There is a lot of scenes, especially in volume 4 that were just drawn out explanations of manga panels that didn't need to be expanded upon, and much of that ended up being really cringy.

If you want to see more of the side characters and learn more about events that got overshadowed by villain ... conflict (Training Camp, School Festival) then you will enjoy these somewhat

TL:DR They aren't written that well and are wholly unnecessary but if you REALLY like My Hero then check these out
