We love a story that includes methods & materials! While the setting for each series is different, they both have a sort of "everyday fantasy" feeling, with in depth, D.I.Y. descriptions of materials or techniques included in the story. Dungeon Meshi is a Dungeons & Dragons, high fantasy-inspired "adventure cookbook" with a focus on anatomy and physiology, while Honzuki no Gekokujō is a story of reincarnated bookworm's endeavours to make books available to everyone! (Especially herself.) Though they're distinct story-wise, those with a passion for crafting and applied science will find them both quite interesting!

Same idea, gotta improve your isekai world so you can read books and enjoy modern luxuries.

Maine just wants to improve tech till she can read a book and Zack just wants to improve hygiene and make alcohol. Very similar practical people get iselai'ed stories.

Welcome to My Book Store In Another World and Ascendance of a Bookworm are two isekai manga that feature a female protagonist who loves books and gets transported to another world where magic exists. If you are looking for a more unconventional isekai story that doesn't focus on a JRPG or otome game setting, then consider checking either of these manga out.

"Dad is a Hero, Mom is a Spirit, I'm a Reincarnator" and Ascendance of a Bookworm are two isekai (in another world) manga with ridiculously long titles. They both star a young female protagonist who in their past life had an extensive amount of knowledge, which helps benefit them with their new life in a new and unfamiliar world. The MC in both are super adorable, too.

Only sense online is about mc who makes a cute girl character however he is a complete noob so he chooses the wrong "senses", and has to hustle with craftingskills and potion making in order to make use of himself. they are similar in that the mc is cute and the premise of fantasy is similar as well as the crafting aspect.

One is a manga but both are an isekai with a female lead. The acendance of a bookworm starts when the MC is still a child but both of the MCs are driven by a strong passion (Books / medecine). While Docteur Elise has way more romance into it. I think that if you liked one, you will be very likely to like the other

Ascendance of a Bookworm and Kitchen Princess are two manga series with a female protagonist who is passionate about something (Ascendance features books while Kitchen Princess features food). Both series often feature the main character making things, whether it be food or crafts.

Ascendance of a Bookworm and Full Moon wo Sagashite are two manga series with a young and passionate female main character and some very cute artwork. The main character in both series really love something (books in Ascendance and music in Full Moon), but due to their age and very sickly nature (as well as due to the time setting in Ascendance's case), her family often limits her to staying at home and doesn't understand her interests. Ascendance isn't as tragic/dark as Full Moon, though.

Both MC reborn in a fantasy world and become strange gifted child. They have very strong will to continue previous life goal in an unsuitable Medieval Fantasy world.

Though Ascendance of a Bookworm is an Isekai, Toshokan no Daimajutsushi is similar in that both main characters share a love for books and reading set in a pre-modern fantasy setting with a low literacy rate. Ascendance of a Bookworm is much more of an enterprising story, though Toshokan no Daimajutsushi seems to go more in that direction later.

Myne is a passionate bookworm and Mao Mao is crazy about medicines and poisons. Myne causes a lot more mayhem with her love of books and Mao Mao is more grounded and does her best to "do no harm" with her knowledge (but she's still a pretty crazy mad scientist type). Both are great for a laugh and I highly recommend them. Both female leads are very clever and fun to watch in action. If you love one, you'll love the other.

Both are isekai manga featuring female protagonists who use knowledge and expertise from their previous world to improve their current lives.
