Ok I'm not really experienced with CGDCT, but because it's about camping I mainly came to see the beautiful scenery of Japan's mountains and night sky.

I liked all the characters, they're cute (well obviously), and they all have good personalities. There is a quick development in terms of how the characters start to share a strong bond of friendship. It's to the point of doubting whether there is development or not. I mean, this manga is basically just a cycle of moe, food and camping...

There are some funny scenes too, which adds to the enjoyment of reading this manga. We also get to know ...

Although the art in manga can be considered as relatively inferior to the anime its still fulfils the requirements to be good enough for the atmosphere of this manga. The sceneries, the locations & the information about them are all surprisingly accurate.

Sound
As good as the anime's ost was, regrettably manga being consisted of pages or pixels cannot generate a really good sound. Its recommended to listen to yuru camp ost while reading this manga.

Characters
The characters preety much remain the same and thats good. One does not require jojo-level character development in a slice ...

In a nutshell
The manga centers on a girl named Rin, who enjoys camping. Despite her rather young age - Rin is a high school student-- she already has more than enough experience in various tourist activities. For Rin, camping in the end of a season, when there are practically no people around, is just so enjoyable. However, this lasted not that long for Rin, because of a pink-haired girl Nadeshiko. Nadeshiko came to see Mount Fuji, but accidentally fell asleep and now cannot return home. With neither food, nor the money to buy some. Because of that, Rin has ... no other option, but to help the poor fellow. This is how the friendship of the two girls begins. They do not know, however, that they are students of the same school. This is just the beginning of their story.

Plot
The story of Yuru Camp is extremely simple: the heroines of the manga travel a lot, enjoy camping, as well as try various delicious foods. At each of the campsites, Rin and her friends demonstrate different recipes, following which you can also cook a variety of delicious stuff. In addition to cooking, the reader is shown some simple techniques that can make camping easier and more enjoyable; the manga also shows what equipment is the best for that kind of activity. This all is also followed by funny interactions between the characters, good humor and a very enjoyable pace of the manga, which helps to enjoy the manga to the fullest. Yuru Camp is both very relaxing, as well as informative, because you can learn many things about camping.

Characters
Schoolgirls, schoolgirls, fun-fun. In Yuru Camp △, cute girls do camping and there is nothing special about them. They are just ordinary girls. Yes, I think this word suits them the best. This is what makes this manga that enjoyable to read; it is what makes it realistic and so fun to read. The heroines are very cute and the best thing about them is the characters interactions that are very wholesome. The problem, however, is that after a few chapters you will start to easily guess what the girls are about to say, which makes the manga predictable and formulaic. Self-contained Rin Shima, hyperactive Nadeshiko Kagamihara, responsible and mature Aoi Inuyama, crafty Chiaki Oogaki and easy-going Ena Saitou. I think that there is nothing bad about it, this is how it supposed to be.

Criticism
There is nothing of a value for me to touch upon here, yet a word of advice: just like with many similar manga and anime, I highly recommend you to read it little by little, so that you can enjoy the pace. However, if you try to rush it, most likely it will be boring and you will not enjoy the read. But this is for you to decide.

All in all
Yuru Camp △ is a really simple, sweet piece that does not try to be something that it cannot be. Simple characters, simple plot, simple humor and simple art. Simplicity can also be turned into a masterpiece. This is true for Laid-Back Camp.
