Mai-Chan's Daily Life - one of the most notorious erotic-grotesque (commonly abbreviated 'ero-guro', or simply just 'guro') manga series of all time. I will put this as a fair warning - this manga is not for the faint of heart. Now, onto the review.

Story (9/10)- Well, the story in and of itself isn't that good, but the premise of the main character - Mai, is. She cannot die. She is stuck in a whorehouse for wealthy loons and sexually humiliated and dismembered daily. Sounds run of the mill? Well, I guess maybe it is, but it is executed quite well. The whole 'she-can-never-die' thing really ... was done well in this series, and I have never seen it before. Really the plot/story don't matter because when you read guro you want to see two things; sex and gore. These both are present. Add a well executed 'super power' of sorts for the main character, and bam, you got a 9 out of 10 for the story.

Art (9/10)- Uziga Waita has always been a good artist, but in this manga he really shines. Everything is extremely detailed, but not to the point where you feel that you are being overwhelmed. For such a far-fetched story, the gore and sexual organs of the characters are actually portrayed rather realistically. Really my only complaint is that sometimes he shadded a bit too much and it made it hard to tell what he was drawing, but that only happens once or twice, and doesn't spoil anything.

Character (4/10)- Nothing special. Except for Mai-Chan, every other character is pretty much stock. Of all the girls in the manga, Mai-chan is the only one who actually managed to look hot. Not impressive for a guro manga. I guess it is about average in this field.

Enjoyment (9/10) - What can I say, I enjoy a good shock. This manga delievered some shocks. Oh, and did I mention that the final chapter is actually so shocking/awesome/famous that it has become a internet meme? Oh, well it has.

Overall (9/10) - Read this manga if you want to be shocked. Great guro. Classic. Read it now. Read it now. Stop reading my review and read it now.

I need to clear my browsing history but before I do that, let me review this manga. This contains some spoilers, but why.... would that matter.... you shouldn't be reading this. Please don't read this. Nobody should read this. The images I have seen are permanently stored into my brain and I will never forget them. Remember that anime that has been sitting in your "Plan To Watch" section of your anime list that has been there for 2 months? Go watch that instead of reading this.

Run down: Now here we got Mai Chan, a maid, who is also an immortal slave. People come ... by and do some horrid, and I mean HORRID things to her. She never catches a break because the next pervert with fucked up fantasies always comes through to torture the poor child.

Story: I give this a 2. Why might you ask? Because the story was dreadful. Just think of a 17 year old girl who is immortal and constantly gets raped, stabbed, tortured in every way possible, oh and she was bit by a fucking tiger. In the vagina. So there's that. I have never seen anything as foul as what goes down in this manga..... Just describing it makes me sick. I'm not going to. That poor baby...... I want to crawl into a cave and watch as many anime's with moe characters as possible to forget what I have read in the past 40 minutes.

Art: 6/10. Wasn't bad....... Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was detailed.

Characters: 4/10. I felt super bad for Mai Chan and I kinda cared about that Sayurin girl because she also suffered like Mai Chan. The other characters were kinda there like the mistress lady, I wanted to kick her ass for real. She is an emotionless witch. The others were kinda backgroundish.

Enjoyment: 1/10: Obviously, this wasn't targeted to me as I'm not really a fan of guro so its no surprise I didn't enjoy reading any of this. Frankly, I'm disturbed. Disgusted. Horrified. Scared that the FBI is going to bust down my door for having this in my search history. Yeah, you probably get it.

Now, if you guys have been around in the manga world recently, you might have heard of a fucked up manga called "Mai-Chan no Nichijou or Mai-Chan's Daily Life". In every chapter it's fucked up. I wonder what the creator was thinking while making this. Let's just make this review quick.

Story is well, just comes to the point where everything is just 0-100 real quick.
Everything just happens in a snap. In the story you will see boobs and more blood and fucked up shit. Let's move on shall we?


Characters. Where ... do i even start? Just to make it short, in the manga, a 17 year old girl named Mai is working in a mansion and is a maid.....and a sex slave. Now, Mai CAN'T DIE. No matter what. If she kills herself, he will feel the pain and always say "IT HURTS IT HURTS!" She will not die. Mai is immortal. Let's continue.


Did i even enjoy this manga? Well, no. I didn't. Who the hell would even enjoy this? Again, this manga is fucked up, VERY FUCKED UP. I'm not kidding. This shit is horrible if you try to eat something.

So, my overall is a 6. If you have a weak stomach and just can't stand blood and organs, then i HIGHLY recommend to NOT read this manga. It's the most fucked up manga i have ever read.

When you read manga, or consume any piece of media, there’s usually a take away from it all. There is no take away from Mai-Chan’s Daily Life. There probably wasn’t meant to be one, as much as the positive reviews try to shoehorn one in there. If you go into Mai-Chan’s Daily Life and expect some sort of meaning, you will be very disappointed.

I can’t think of a single quality this manga has that makes it worth reading. The art? It’s not bad, but it’s not great either. You can certainly find better art elsewhere. The characters? Flat, static, and boring. I don’t ... remember a single character’s name, with the exception of Mai. Pacing? All over the place, subpar at best, and atrocious at worst. The manga jumps from scene to scene, with no flow or cohesiveness whatsoever.

And finally, the plot. The story is about Mai, a teenage girl who has been sex-trafficked by some unnamed organization, into a mansion where she is tortured and brutalized by clients. Throughout the story, Mai is amputated, beat to death, disemboweled, burned to death, stabbed and sliced to death, decapitated, raped, and abused in every possible way you could think of. That’s it, that’s the entire plot. Oh, she’s also killed by a tiger, somehow.

Overall, the only way you could possibly enjoy this manga is if you were into blood, gore, snuff, rape, shota, loli, torture, cannibalism, amputation… and more! Fortunately, I am not into any of that, so you could say that Mai-Chan’s Daily Life is not for me. Contrary to what edgelords say, there is no deeper meaning to this story, there’s no character development, and there is absolutely nothing valuable about Mai-Chan’s Daily Life.

WHAT THE FK DID I JUST READ?
I like gore and dark mangas those are some of my favorite genres. Now mai-chan no Nichijou is one of those typical loving mangas where you can enjoy a maid in her daily life*is it?!?!* Sure there's a bit of blood in the chapters*A BIT?!?* and you might see a lot of naked moments but it is not sooo bad. If you honestly liked it then you need some help...

I give the story a 3 : I can't go lower cause some of the chapters weren't as bad as the rest, they were decent enough to not jump ... in to the eye balls sex scene...really?

Art 6: yes a 6 I don't like the manga at all but the art was fair and well detailed, It can't be helped...

Characters 3: In the manga it is only focused on one character and that is mai chan, everyone else is meh.

In my own words, I have encountered so many gore and disturbing/dark/etc. mangas before but this one...Is the most terrible one I have ever read, My friend told me about this and he said to NOT read it. He spoiled me what happens in it cause he doesn't want anyone to fall prey to it but since I have encountered so many of these mangas, I thought this one wasn't gonna be as bad as the rest of them..wow..was I wrong.
This one traumatized me for almost a week, not by fear but by that one disgust picture that keeps appearing in my mind when I go to sleep.
and it's the damn baby on a dudes crotch REALLY CREATOR WTF? That was just depressing as fuck and it is not worth reading it at all. But it honestly was based on how reality is. You might not see this happen infront of you but all that happens somewhere.(not the tiger) But the child porn, rape, death, sex slavery, etc. They definitely exist.

I've always had a thing for blood and gore, it's not a fetish but I can go through it without even cringing once.

Mai-chan no Nichijou didn't make me cringe, but damn, they weren't over exaggerating when picking the genres. I did really like this manga, because it kept me interested and made me feel sorry for the main character.

I found out about this manga from, The Anime Man and the live-action film about this. The moment I found out about this, I wanted to read it and I did.

I liked ... it, they didn't hold back which I something I admire.

The art was really good, not outstanding but it wasn't crap.

The story was decent, even though it wasn't even a story. This is more, "Porn without Plot." since this is going through her daily life of being used for peoples sick fantasies.

The character was good-looking, and quite likeable, but I just realized, Mai is 17... More child porn.

I enjoyed reading the manga, but not to the point where I'm a fan of the series.

Overall, it's a good read for someone who loves horror and Gornography.

Listen you don't read gore manga expecting butterflies and happy endings.
You read gore manga to feel disturbed, and hurt in your soul.
If that's what you're looking for i recommend this manga.
It has very graphic sexual scenes (in a bad way) so be aware.
I really like the characters and their development over the volumes.
Even after some years i can still remember each of them and how they hurt.

Mei Chan specially is the one character that hurts the most.
Its emotions are strong and so its its gore.

First of all: People critizing this, rating it 1/10 only because is sick, is as stupid as people rating 1/10 scary games because they make them scared.

This manga was, indeed, made to be gore and as perverse as human mind can reach.

Story: The plot is extremely simple. Here, you have a maid, she can't die. Those? oh, those are the bad guys who enslaved her and sell her to perverts.
That's literally all you need to know. It's like Tetris. Here, these are tetrads, you spin them and clear lines, enjoy!

Art: Well, if something is well made I have to recognize it. The drawing ... style, that mid 2000's classic one is fine for me. Only problem I have is that in some scenes you may not understand shit because of the amount of gore.

Now, I've watched a lot of gruesome anime and read a lot of grotesque manga without batting an eyelid but this was truly vile. Even for me and I'm an avid fan of gore. At the beginning of the manga I could cope with what was going on...just about anyway but nearing the end things escalated to say the least. Certain scenarios took place that were unimaginably bad, one specifically to do with ((((Spoiler within the brackets- the main protagonist's child being ripped from her, raped and then put into a blender. Too far is an understatement as is ... any word to describe how foul it was)))) Even though the manga itself mostly just focused on the gore of it I found that there was no true story and it left an albeit repulsed reader with a lot of questions, in general it was a series of horrid ideas published. Perhaps I'm wrong though, with me finding this hard to finish I found myself skim reading quite a bit so there's every chance that I missed important pieces of information. If the point of this was to leave someone disgusted then the author did a fantastic job of writing this and they succeeded with flying colours. I use harsh words because that's how it made me feel but I'm sure it was meant to do so. I would not recommend this to anyone, if you choose to read this then brace yourself.

Ahh where should i even start. First of all this manga is a very fucked up manga, VERY FUCKED UP. The story is about a girl, named mai, whos a maid. But theres more to it than that, for you see this maid cant die, she can kill herself or be chopped to pieces but she wont die. And due to that well shes a sex slave, where men will do very horrible things to her, she will regenerate, then have them do it over and over and over again. So overall the story well it wasnt that great as i never found myself really ... interested in anything its just blood sex more blood and more sex so the story i will give a 3 score as it was somewhat interesting. The art looked pretty good and really showed the gore right and defeniently could make you cringe but overall nothing special so a 7 or 6 rating. As for characters i will say. All the characters sucked (except mai as i felt a little bad for her). No one has any real emotion other than mai and even her barely has any at all and i could never find myself liking anyone except partitally mai and that girl i think her name was sayurin. But really the characters were really really bland with nothing you could much so about them. For enjoyment i will have to say i did enjoy reading it for WTF moments and its fun to trick your friends into reading it, so overall i wasnt bored reading it but didnt like it either so i guess enjoyment rating would be 6 since i was always what the fucking to every chapter. So overall i would say the manga sucks and its totally messed up and really sick so i give it a 2 rating (also this is my first review sorry if it wasnt that good lol)

Yeah, I read this, and no I didn't want to score it, but I had to, to be able to press that submit button. Honestly, I'm unable to put put a pricetag on this one. I belive, I've reached the bottom of the rabbit hole (again)... If you are looking for the limits of the human imagination, this is what you are looking for, if not, then spare yourself an irreversible brain damage.

Sidenotes: I guess, I found the source material and the ancestor of Maggot Baits, but there is a story in that VN which is (debatably) worth reading, unlike in Mai's life. Also, the ... gore can't really affect me since I've read the MB. I became numb to it. Mai is no exception. Unsurprisingly it couldn't really show me anything new compared to it's successor. They are about the same level. So it seems like this is the limit of the human imagination. At least hopefully... I'm sure, I'm not capable of imagine anything what goes beyond this.

One word: baby blender
The plot is a 1/10 due to it basically being non-existent besides the fact the main character being invincible and used as an sex toy by others, a pretty bland and uninteresting plot ngl. Characters is a 2/10 Mai Chan actually had me feeling bad for her as she was only seen as a sex object and not a human, even watching her child go through something so disgusting not being able to help them and Kizuna as he was just a child. This manga has literal baby rape and child porn in it (which the author needs his hard drive ... checked for 💀) but the gore and the art is pretty good at least 4/10. Anyway stay away from this shit gotta bleach my eyes out now 🙏🏾

Mm, did not want to give my opinion about this manga, but I wanted to share my first review, the truth is that this manga did not entertain me, since I am not familiar with this genre so grotesque.

Art (2/10): I give it a 2, the sleeve what it wants to transmit or wants to give is the disturbance to the reader based on a lot of gore, violence, violations. I really do not understand this art, but I respect people who like it.

Story (1/10): The story from my point of view seems to me the most absurd and stupidest story I've read in a ... manga in my very existence,
It does not make any sense, I detest the manga and anime where all the people are complete garbage

Character (2/10): In characters the only thing that could be rescued was Mai. The Others very regrettable, the girl who only mistreated Mai, the "Brother" a senseless idiot (unnecessary character), and the secondary ones that I tell you their only objective is to rape and torture. Fucking bitch, I know that the goal of the manga is that, but honestly, there is not a bit of love for the characters and that hurts.

Enjoyment (1/10): I can tell you. Enjoy none, for a madman Maybe, but for me. Nothing

The plot definitely left room for emotional development in Mai, but that development was limited due to the pacing and length of the manga. In fact, there's not much meat on the plot's bones, so by the (notably shock-reliant, please beware) ending, there were multiple questions left unanswered about the eternal slave phenomenon and the characters, like Sayurin, Kaede, even Mai herself.

That being said, the biggest spotlight of the manga, was on the art and the levels of guro Mai had to take on. Not a good time if you're expecting deep, resonating themes somewhere in the blood stains. Maybe a good time if you're ... just here to see how the blood leaked out.

Britt: Well, the first manga I was going to review was originally gonna be the disappointment known as "Vampire Knight", but after my friend Michael warned me about this particular manga called "Mai-Chan no Nichijou" or as it's called in English "Mai-Chan's Daily Life", I decided to check that out instead and see what was so bad about it. Hmm, I can certainly say his warning wasn't for nothing. Mai-Chan's Daily Life is probably the most disgusting, despicable, inhumane piece of dog sh*t I've ever laid my eyes upon. Now for those of you who don't know what this manga is, let me explain. Mai-Chan's ... Daily Life is an ero guro manga written and illustrated by Waita Uziga, and if you're into some nasty sh*t, just search up his name on Google, and you'll get what you so desire. Now, ero guro is a type of genre consisting of "grotesque pornography". Ya know, sex (or in this case, rape) mixed with torture, then that's what that is. I honestly cannot understand how something like that would appeal to anyone. Watching a mutilated body getting raped. That's disgusting, and not sexy or arousing in the slightest, but I'm getting a bit off topic. Let's go on to the story of this...."manga"

Story: (Copied from Myanimelist.com) "Mai-Chan's Daily Life tells the story of the 17-year-old girl Mai-chan, who has the ability to quickly regenerate from injuries, no matter how severe. Working as a maid, she is also sold to a number of clients who can do whatever they wish to her, no matter how cruel or painful, just to satisfy their desire." And well, there you have it folks. Mai is a maid-no, scratch that, Mai is an IMMORTAL SEX SLAVE. Yeah, that's right. Her "boss" has "clients" paying to rape and dismember this poor girl on a daily.basis. I mean, but it's ok since she can't die right? It's not like they're really killing her. AHA, see, that's where you're wrong my friend. Even if she can't die, it's still messed up. Every single page had her being raped and murdered over and over again in great detail, and she could feel all of it. Not like she had a congenital insensitivity to pain cause she can regenerate. Oh no, she still felt the stabbing, the biting, the beheading, the bludgeoning. I guess, it wouldn't have been as bad if Mai couldn't feel any of this. But no, she had to feel it every day of her life and it's horrible. I mean, even if she couldn't feel it it would still be f*cked up, but at least she wouldn't have to suffer as much. Also, this manga was very rushed. I mean, I'm glad it didn't go any further, but there were a lot of things left unexplained. Like, how did Mai get regeneration abilities? How long has she been working as a "maid"? And if she's suffering so much, why didn't she just run away? This stuff was just glossed over for the torture porn and that was it. I give the story (or whatever) a freaking 2. It's lucky it got that.

Characters: Oh jeez, where do I start with the characters? Well, there's Mai-Chan the protagonist of course, with the power to heal any injury thrown at her. All I can really say is that throughout this entire manga, I felt nothing but sorry for her. She was as sweet as pumpkin pie, and yet all these horrible things happened to her, and she kinda just went with it. It was a bit hard to keep feeling sympathy after every page, though. I mean, everything just got worse and worse and never got better, but my problem is that she just stood there and took it even if it was hurting her. I mean, couldn't she just run away from all that if she didn't like it? Cause she clearly didn't, but did she feel like she had nowhere else to go? Or maybe she thought that even if she did run away, she'd get mauled by a tiger anyway? Oh yeah, that brings me to this next character. Kaede, Mai's boss, and the most sadistic b*tch I've ever seen in my life. She thought since Mai couldn't die, she could just make a few quick bucks selling her as a sex slave to disgusting, horny animals. Apparently everyone in this story is into ero guro, since it seems all the clients were merciless and wanted nothing but to skull f*ck Mai and get their moneys worth. Ok, I'll admit that I'm into some weird stuff, too, but I'd never, and I mean NEVER stoop that low. Who the hell actually get's a turn-on from headless, limbless, gutless bodies? I certainly don't. And I certainly don't want to meet anyone in the real world or online who's into that. Because it's disgusting. I don't care how sadistic you are, that's taking it waaaay too far, man. The rest of the characters consist of Kizuna the masochist, who looks like he's about 12 or under and he can also heal any injury thrown at him (never explained, and he came out of nowhere). Sayurin, the limbless girl (she also came out of nowhere), and Mai's first friend. She died in front of Mai, and Kaede forced Mai to watch her body decay in the backyard, cause that's what friends do. And George Reitman. A president of "a country", who is supposed to represent a certain former president we all know, without actually mentioning him. He was literally a pile of sh*t who deserved to die a horrible death for what he did. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that Sayurin was apparently a cannibal so Mai had to grind up her own arms and breasts to feed to her? (this doesn't need to be explained either obviously, just look at the gore, man!) F*Ck this nasty sh*t. I give the characters a 2. I'm seriously being generous with the 2's.

Art: Oh dear Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. *sigh* the art. Well, I'd be lying if I said the art was bad. It was actually really well drawn. Aaand considering the demographic for this monstrosity, I'd say it did it's job right. But then there's the fact that the females (and shotas) are all drawn in a cutesy style. A lot of people couldn't take the manga seriously because they were so "moe" looking, but I for one found it more unbearable to look at because of how cute they looked. It's like running over a baby playing with a puppy. that's how it felt. And if that doesn't sadden you, then you really have no soul. Speaking of babies, the ending to this manga (though, not really the ending. Just nearing the end) was the worst thing I have ever seen in my life. I'm not even joking, I'm not even exaggerating. Give me a Serbian film mixed with Human Centipede, and throw in some Splice and I'd take that over what I saw waiting for me at the end. And that damn scene became an internet meme, and some people even found it funny. This world is full of f*cked up people. I swear it is. That scene was not funny. It was disturbing, and horrible. If anyone fapped to that then you need a therapist. No joke. Go see a doctor if you got a hard on from that. Because you need help. And stay off of 4chan, damn it! I thought the art was decent, so I'll give it a 4. You got lucky, art.

Overall Enjoyment: F*ck that word called "enjoyment" cause I didn't enjoy a single second of this horrid creation. I've seen some pretty messed up stuff before, but this was beyond me. Coming from someone who can handle gore pretty well, and can handle some weird hentai pretty well, I have to say that when mixing gore with hentai, I start to feel nauseous. Like, my stomach literally started to hurt after I read this. I didn't find anything funny, even when the creator was going for a comedic route at the end, I still did not find it funny. My jaw dropped a few times, and it felt like there was a knot in my stomach, but that's all. I'm sorry, but I cannot find anything about this appealing. If you're into gore and sex, then watch a SAW movie next to a pornhub playlist. Don't read this terrifying sh*t. So, if you couldn't already tell how I felt about this manga well then let me say it for the hundredth time. THIS WAS THE NASTIEST, SCARIEST, MOST DISGUSTING PIECE OF GARBAGE I'VE EVER READ IN MY ENTIRE YOUNG 17 YEARS OF LIVING. I WILL NEVER READ THIS AGAIN, AND I SUGGEST THAT NONE OF YOU READ IT EITHER. Seriously just do the SAW pornhub thing instead. If you're aloud to feel sadness, laughter, and anger when reading manga or watching anime, then you're aloud to feel DISGUSTED also. And that's exactly how this stupid sh*t made me feel. So please, do not, and I repeat DO NOT, read this grotesque, cannibalistic, pedobear fuel, rape filled, gore-fest, especially if you have a soul and a weak stomach. This manga is the worst piece of material I've ever read and seen. It doesn't even qualify as a Hentai and everyone should steer clear of this abomination. Seriously, no one needs to read this.
In the 24 years of my existence and almost 10 years of watching anime, I have never been so ... visibly and unbelievably disgusted with a piece of fiction as I was when I read this. I honestly wish I hadn't read this. If there could be a 0 rating then I would've given this that intact this manga just needs to be erased from existence. I don't know what happened to me that I found and read this vomit inducing and traumatizing manga but if I ever regret something then this would definitely be it.
It contains , Blood, Gore, Rape and everything bad imaginable along with some stuff that will make your brain shut down. How does someone even think of making stuff like this is beyond me. This is just bad. Straight up bad. I don't know what the author had in his mind while making this but this is some seriously messed up stuff.
I'll warn anyone reading this review again, DO NOT READ THIS! Especially not people who have a low tolerance for shocking grotesque stuff because you might actually physically vomit.

I’m back once again for another gore manga review like I said at the end of “Shin Gendai Ryoukiden”. To be honest, this manga is nearly as bad as that one is simple from just the last chapter alone. I’ll get to that later on in the review though.

Story: This is basically everything you’d expect from a gore manga, it lives up to its name and all the infamous talk about it. Also short and “sweet” if you wanna say that, I completed it in less than one hour since it’s only 11 chapters. If you like gore manga this is a “must ... read” basically in the genre, it has a lot of different types of horrible things and you’ll be left with the worst taste in your mouth once you get to the last chapter. It’s easily the most gruesome and worst of the bunch, being foreshadowed in the previous chapter about what was gonna happy to Mai-Chan’s child, but at least she got put out of her misery at the end. Even if it was in easily the worst way possible in my eyes, I felt nothing but straight sorrow for Mai-Chan.

Art: I’ve definitely read worse stuff but this is also up there alone for the art style, it’s just as gruesome as Shin Gendai Ryoukiden and debatably even more graphic than it at times. I also see a lot of similar stuff in both of these manga, but i’ll let you see that for yourself since I don’t feel like talking about how much I just ruined my eyes during the past 40 minutes of my life.

Characters: As I said before, during this manga I felt nothing but pure sadness for Mai-Chan and all she had to deal with. Though it’s basically expected when reading these type of things so I don’t let it bug me much. I was hoping Kaede would die just like the annoying dude at the end did, but she sadly didn’t. Speaking of, his death was very disappointing compared to the rest of what we just saw what happened with her baby. He was the only one I really wanted to die and we didn’t even get that satisfying of one, so that just added to the sour taste in my mouth I got after reading that last chapter.

Enjoyment: I didn’t enjoy this at all, it’s what I expected from a gore manga and it was just nothing more than shock value in my eyes. I wouldn’t find it so disgusting if it wasn’t for that last chapter, absolutely despicable in my eyes rightfully deserving of a ONE and nothing else. I would give it a zero if I could.

i have now read this manga two times, the second time it just got worse as i noticed more things, first of im going to use how i will rate weird mangas

how fucked? 9/10 - it was wild, everything was everywhere and as it went on it just got worse, about 3 arcs id say with three distinct moments in each. It made me sick to my stomach but I ended up reading it all

why someone would write this? 10/10 - we shame on this for this sick fetish the author has, turning grotesque situations into something to be enjoyed and gained pleasure ... out of is vile. The author will also play off some scenes as comedy, comedy. Oh she ground up her arm, FUNNY, its twisted in its ways and i generally question what was going through the authors mind while writing it and everyone one else in the process who made this a fucking physical volume supporting this horrendous work

onto a normal review:

story 4/10 - haven't seen it down before a decent enough story line, you end up feeling bad for mai for the situation she is in and what happens to her throughout the manga

characters 3/10 - nothing special, characters bland and plain

art 6/10 - the injuries mai and other characters get are in detail, nothing is missed out on, its disgustingly detailed at times, but thhe character designs are plain and basic as well, the only one i did like was the design of the manager she works for (if you do read it its the lady with the black hair)

overall this story made me sick and i had to put it down multiple times, eyes widening as it went on and as said before with each chapter it just got worse and worse and in the last chapter im not living that down, that was vile
read it if you want to feel like you are going to throw up

I agree with _dangohime, this manga was deeply disturbing and I wish I hadn't read it. Personally, I don't enjoy or want to enable sexualization/romanticisation of minors, r4pe, torture and a plethora of other degrading acts. I understand that this is a type of genre that "specializes" in this kind of stuff and maybe there's a deeper meaning or maybe it symbolizes something and uses shock value to get the message across?? I don't know, I personally don't know what that could be, reading it was traumatic enough and I don't want to spend my time thinking about it and trying to find some ... kind of answer or a way to redeem it but I honestly think that people who genuinely enjoy this need to do some profound self reflection... I know that ultimately there are people who are going to read this and enjoy it and that's their choice, I can't stop them, but I think that knowing what kind of material you're consuming is important. I could go on and talk about why such material is harmful and enabling this kind of stuff is only causing more damage but I wont keep going on about it here because I've already made my point. But if you want to know more about why this material is harmful, then you can go and do your own research and I'm sure you'll have plenty to discover.
