They are both by the same Mangaka and are extremely graphically violent.  

Game over is made by the same mangaka and belongs to the same artistic movement that Mai-chan does (Eroguro), that already is enough to recommend it, but to top it off Game Over has two chapters that work as a pilot to what would become Mai-chan No Nichijou, so, yeah. 

Franken Fran and Mai-chan's Daily life share the trait of combining comedy with bizzare and grotesque. If you liked Franken Fran, and want to read something that went a step further qrotesque wise, Mai-chan may appease you. 

Both from same author and have a similar style, though Death Face is way more grotesque.
