Metsuko ni Yoroshiku is a funny read with entertaining characters and wonderful art. I enjoyed every chapter, and it's nice to see a manga that doesn't portray a larger character in a purely negative manner - she's one of my favourite manga characters in general.

The character designs are interesting. While there are a few bland ones, the ones that sick out *really* stick out. It's why I like Akiko so much - she has a unique design and is written and interacted with in a way that involves her weight but doesn't portray it as negative.

Another cool-kyou shinja story, but unfortunately disappointing.

Story: believe it or not, confusing. A lot of the characters actually look the same so I was confused. Also the story doesn't really go anywhere. And instead of it being a fun journey to a goal, it's just another sitcom. Tbh it should have just been a 4-koma.

Art: cute, but again nothing special, and unfortunately drawn in a way that makes it difficult to distinguish characters.

Character: the characters are sort of repetitive, and nothing really moves forward in terms of the relationships.

In the end, I dropped it after a few chapters. Just doesn't grip you.
