When any story starts off with an interesting and funny chapter, it kind of sets high expectations in the mind of a reader. When these expectations fail to meet it ends up as a sore disappointment. I may be a somewhat inexperienced manga reader, but now this made me sure of what I will possibly avoid in the future.
Moe Kare had the formula to be cutesy and funny. While it's jokes worked I think everything else was lazy and cliche. I think it's a standard shoujo story with the bad boy-good girl-good boy love triangle. While I happen to enjoy them if they are depicted

There's really nothing great or unique about Moe Kare!! It's mostly fluff with some mild/moderate fan service. It's not the kind of manga that has you constantly on the edge of your seat, but it has its own charm, I guess. Good if you're in the mood for something mindless to relax at the end of the day.

This is the 3rd manga I've read that was written by Ikeyamada Go. She still failed to understand that rape isn't something to joke about and consent is fundamental when it comes to intimacy. Not only that, but she constantly treats her female characters as mere things to be owned by male characters, instead of human beings... which is what they are. This really upsets me, specially because her mangas (including this one) is targeted at younger audiences.
